Well, I worked on this 2001 Lincoln Town Car over a year ago. The lady really does not drive it much. It sites outside 24/7 at an adult living facility. The Rio Grande Valley has plenty of these places across our area. When I worked on it the 1st time, I only had a PC and a few lil toys. NOW, I have plenty of toys and it will really shine.

On Monday. I will only have a few hours to do some detail work. The Town Car will not be done until Wednesday afternoon. I have one question to ask. What would YOU USE to clean the vinal top on the Town Car? I know there is no way in saving it since it's so dry and was never taken care of since it was new back in 2001. I was going to use some Amazing Roll-Off on the top or something. What would you suggest?

Oh yeah. The time I did this, I used saddle soap on it. This is what she ended looking like:

Only a Detailing God could accomplish that! Saddle soap on vinyl, a new trick! Thanks! :xyxthumbs:

Simple.

Engine:
Amazing Roll-Off

Stoner’s More Shine

After you washed the engine with ARO, start the car for a few minutes. Shut it off and spray some Stoners on it. Let it run for another 5 minutes, or so, then shut it off. After you finish the exterior, open the hood and wipe the engine down to make sure everything is nice and dry.

Did you have to agitate ARO, or just rinse it?

Just a spray bottel with 75% water and 25% ARO. I use a high pressure washer that I bought @ Home Depot over a year ago.

Wow, that's not very much ARO and it still did a nice job. Some of it may have to do with the pressure washer as well. I just picked up a 1700 PSI pressure washer from home depot a week ago. What PSI is yours?

Thanks..

Glad to see the 303 worked on that roof :)

Well, the 303 really just cleaned, what could be cleaned, was the top. The Saddle Soap is what prootects the vinyl on THIS Town Car. Those marks will never come out since they are baked in. The Saddle Soap give the vinyl a little more protectant life. I might add another layer of Saddle Soap when I get the Town Car back tomorrow.

Okay. When my client bought this Town Car, in the early 2000s, she bought it used from the Lincoln Mercury Dealership. They never advised her this vehicle had some body work done. I do not see any messed up body parts, but, I know 100% that this thing was repainted. Who ever did it did one very poor exterior AND interior work. They never took things off the exterior. They painted by taping everything up. It was bad. I advised he the last time I detailed it in March '09. Also, the leather, inside the Lincoln, was dyed and you just could not miss it. Also, this Lincoln has some major electrical problems with it as well. Poor lady is 89 years old. She is already having a problem with a mechanic shop that has worked on it in the past.

Good thing she likes my work!! Im the MAN

Oh yeah. I also used Optimum Leather Protectant on the leather seats inside the Lincoln. My bad. Also, I forgot to show you what the interior looked like BEFORE:
