for those who don't receive the weekly AG e-mail - here's some of the latest news. these changes will take place in just a little over two weeks from today, starting march 1st 2022. buy up now, if you want to save a little extra!

And now, some not-so-fun news.

With the level of unpredictability in the market today, the only reality we can be sure of is it's getting more expensive to do business. As much as our vendors and our company have tried to control our costs, certain aspects of our business are out of our control. Items like freight, raw materials and packaging have continued to skyrocket over the last year.

Many vendors have already passed down to us some price increases, a few of those we have made and some we have held out on. As 2022 starts out we can no longer prolong or push off some of these price increases.

Starting March 1st, we will have to raise some prices in some of your favorite lines, including: Wolfgang, Pinnacle, DP Detailing Products, Marine 31, Meguiar’s, Kwazar, FLEX, Scangrip, and RUPES.

We would like to at least give you some warning of the price increases that are on the horizon. This gives you a chance to stock up on your favorite products before their prices are, inevitably, increased.

We thank you for your understanding - please feel free to contact our customer service team via phone or by email with any questions.

I had heard from another source that FLEX prices are going up on March 1st. Half of those brands are PBMG's own brands.

Not surprising....seems like everything is going up. I try and patronize Autogeek and/or Autopia....have had good experiences buying from them and from their customer service when I needed it. I've had to do some comparison shopping, and even with a sale, it has been cheaper for me to use Amazon lately.

Price increases are inevitable especially in these current times. As long as the price increases are reasonable, most customers will understand.

Prices everywhere on everything are going up. Welcome to 7.5% inflation folks. It's only going to get worse.

Disagree. Doesn’t matter who was in charge, after the economy froze for many months AROUND THE WORLD, the economy was going to be majorly affected.

And I should say I’m not happy with Biden on many things. I hope he doesn’t run again or the Republicans will win everything by a landslide and I don’t like one party being in charge of everything. But there’s a good chance that will happen regardless.

Riiiiight, because printing billions of dollars for government handouts, attacking the fossil fuel industry, and imposing vaccine mandates that negatively affect businesses, have little to nothing to due with inflation.

It’s largely due to supply constraints from Covid more so than monetary policy.

Riiiiight - because the previous guy didn't spend trillions, raise the debt after promising to get rid of it, give tax breaks to those that didn't really need it, and personally sign Covid stimulus checks... and maybe, just maybe, if one side wasn't actively working on making the situation worse in-order to make the other side look bad, we would all realize we are in this together and its China, Russia, and Iran that's the real problem - not health mandates.

Just because someone wants to believe it, doesn't make it true. Get your information from more than one side. Biden may or may not want to spend like a drunk sailor, but none of this happens instantaneously. Need to look back a few years. It's complicated.

LET'S GO BRANDON!

Very witty :dblthumb2:

Spoken like a true liberal. It's never their fault. LOL

Typical modern day republican - project, deflect and divert. If you're talking to me, try facts and not rhetoric. Tell me where I am not correct in my post above...

Oh, and I am socially and financially conservative, like the GOP used to be.

Since when has this forum become a Facebook whine fest? Both sides are full of crap and could care less about the average American. They only feed us BS to get elected then push their own agenda.

This finger pointing nonsense is ridiculous and doesn't help the situation. It is like two guys with micro peens having a measuring contest. At the end of the day, they will please no one but themselves.

Those in power are having a field day right now with us fighting over this and that. Because if we’re fighting, we’re not paying attention to those in power and how they continue to wield power to ensure they stay in power and control. Meanwhile we fight over scraps and should be thankful they give us jobs and mediocre health care.

The thing i find most laughable about this whole thread...is that i put up a pic of a sticker of something that i thought was funny!

And then it seems that finger pointing joe sticker poked the wrong bear...and the thread went downhill.

Well it was fun at first, but im gonna go cuz cuz ive got some detailing to do! Hahaha

Fyi this post is ment to be light hearted and full of harmless banter. So please nobody get offended

Eh, it's Winter.

Half of us got nuthin' better to do than stare longingly at product bottles sitting idle on shelves, yearning for the warmer weather of Spring!
