Prima Hydro works great as a drying aid, no need to dry first..saves you a step.Ok so i googled this for ten minutes and cant find an answer.
Can one use prima hydro wax as you dry on top of wax such as collinite, et al? I plan to use this tomorrow...after a wash. I'd like to dry the car then use hydro prima wax as a lsp
I read prima hydro is better applied to a dry car. I figure i'll lightly dry it, then apply, so there will still be a little water, but no full beading.
Ok, good. I didnt want to waste product over wax if it didnt work well. Looking forward to getting outside tomorrow and using it.
Well I just did this in the AM. I went to a coin operated self wash and first blasted the car down with water. I mixed ONR in a bucket with ten MFs, one gallon water and one capful ONR. I washed/wiped the car down. I then started up the wand again and hit it will the full pressure, then last minute was spotless rinse. Then I sprayed the roof down with prima hydro and dried it with a MF. The MF was wet so I then wrung it out, dried the rest of the car, and with a wrungout MF, I sprayed the car lightly as I did a final dry.
The result was very glossy. My cx5 in soul red looks like a wet red jolly rancher candy. However, I have some water spots left even though I spotless rinsed and used ONR and Prima? Also, I want to add the collinite fleetwax was amazing to see in action. Wow. Jaw dropping "suction" of water coalescing then sheeting off the car. I'm sold on that wax.
The ONR, not sure if I used it right. The Prima, easy to use. Smelled great, like watermelon? First time for me to use either and used them both together...
