product for black trim

looking for a good product for black trim. Have a 2002 tacoma and assuming that the bumper is plastic. heard mothers back to black is good but looking for something with great shine and long lasting. thanks
 
is there any alcohol or anything to dry out the trim? thanks for the reply

Since it's formulated for tires and trim my bet is it's very safe. Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus is one of the best product's I've ever used and if highly recommended by many here.
 
Wolfgangs new Trim Restorer is another option ....

Somebody doesn't know what they're talking about, B2B runs in the rain and isn't very long lasting.

The new Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant works really well and so does the Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus.
 
thats whats great about this place I can ask people who know more than I do about auto detailing. Still new to all this

:iagree:Excellent product. Doesn't run in the rain like Mother's B2B or Meguiars Gold Class Dash and Trim Protectant.

Meguiars Ultimate Trim Protectant will not run in the rain.
 
PERL Coat from CarPro is another. Check out the reviews. All of these products have been reviewed and they were done very well.

I just tried Meguiars Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer and it darkens really nice. It also doesn't run in the rain....Durability is to be seen, but I do not see it lasting as long as the above two products. For $9 it is a pretty good value IMO!
 
I want to try some of the C4, it is suppose to last for two years

Im not a fan of B2B. Bobby is spot on as always. WG has a similar to UTTG. B2B isnt durable in comparison to these.

Ditto. And my trim was BAD. Hasn't been tested by rain yet though.
 
if you have the kinda trim that i think your talking about, i like to use formula 2001 (sprayed on a lint free wash cloth. i do that to the lower perimeter on my dad's 02 grand cherokee laredo and it repels rain, masks his preferred tire spray (no touch extreme jet shine) and it shines nicely. only downfall is that if you go through a puddle of dust/dirt particles it will stick pending on how much you apply. my dad doesnt seem to have a problem though, in fact he loves how it looks.

Meguiar's Gold Class Trim Detailer and Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant are two different products. Next time buy the non slip dressing.
