Product issue I'm hoping AG resolves (Dodo Juice Red Mist QD)

If someone buys 2 products and both break or don't work as described, asking for 2 replacement products or something of equal or lesser value isn't too much to ask for. If it was a $300 polisher and it broke on any one of you within a few hours of using it, I'm sure you would want a replacement and not a fixed one

This is like comparing apples to oranges, but if you want to do that we can. Let's say that polishers trigger broke half way through the warranty period. I say halfway through the warranty period because you used half the product. Would I expect a new my trigger to be fixed? Yes! Would I expect a new polisher and be able to keep my broke polisher so I can replace the trigger and use it? No. However that is in essence what you did.

It is like my cell phone. I pay insurance on it to get a replacement if it gets broke. Do I get a new one? Nope, I get a rebuilt one.


Now with that being said, I am sure that AG will do something to make it right.
 
Do you shut off the spray nozzle after each use? That would help prevent the product from drying in it and clogging it, which is why most spray nozzles stop working IME.

yes. I'm actually very good at that simply because I don't want to spill any if the bottle falls over. It's hard to explain if you haven't used this product before. It's a very thin nozzle but it sprays (when working) a very light mist which is much less then another other spray nozzle I've used.
 
I've had tons of problems with sprayers on all sorts of products. I've gotten into the habit of saving the good spray heads to replace when the bad ones fail. Unfortunately, I've come to expect to certain failure rate.

I'm sure autogeek will make it right, but I would direct my request for satisfaction directly to dodo juice. They are the only ones who can truly "fix" the issue.

Nope, I just work as a CS for a large retail chain and have to deal with customers who want everything for nothing.

Yes I'm sorry but the amount you're asking for to me is unreasonable.
 
Comparing a 300 polisher to a $17 dollor bottle of detailer is two diferent things.

Your comparing apples to oranges on this. One has a warrenty. If their was a warrenty on they spray nozzle then the two could be compared.

Why should Ag give you new product. You nw the sprayer was broke, Yet continued to use it knowing it was wasting it. Its your own fualt it was wasted. No one elses.

Now if you think saying something is done out of stupidity is name calling, Well ill just leaves this one alone.

As far as being on a band wagon. WRONG! I am simply stating what you thing your entitled to is over board. Ag has top notch customer service. They have earned everything all the customers say about them. So giving someone a good word is now being on the band wagon.
 
I use it all the time and haven't had your issue. the only issue I get sometimes is a slight clog. But it's nothing a little hot water won't fix. I know Dodo sells the empty spritz bottles in 250ml and 500ml sizes. Maybe have AG give Dom a call to see if they will help you out. But extra product is out of the question.

Others and myself have spent thousands here. And I still would not ask for what you did.

i must be one of the luckly ones? my TRMD is still working. and its well over a year old. i read somewhere that you are to take the bottle, turn it upside down, and spray it before the last use. keeps the sprayer clean.
 
You can buy a pack of 12 small bottles ($7.09) that spray an exceptionally fine mist from Amazon. They are called Fantasea 2.5 oz bottles. Costs you a few bucks and next time a bottle of some other product doesn't have a nozzle that lives up to the product, you will have plenty of bottles. Also comes in very handy for when you would like to send a sample to someone...

If you want just one it will cost you 0.80$... Thats eighty cents.

Just search "Fantasea Fine Mist Spray Bottle / 2.5 oz."

Wow interesting reading.... well just to set the record straight we don't mind replacing whatever is broke, that is our duty. A handful of freebies on top of that might be a bit much.
We have excellent customer service so you will get taken care of but no we will not send the hole house for a couple broken sprayers.
As for us fixing the problem, we do not manufacture Dodo, Dodo Juice in the UK does but I will be more then happy to let them know you are unhappy. I know they have changed these sprayers once before due to customer feedback so I am sure they will look into it. They are a great company to deal with and they will do there best to provide good quality products.
And can you tell me who you emailed here so I can make sure you are well taken care of, email and phone calls are the fastest way to resolve a problem around here.
 
I really find it amazing that people come here and start a negative thread about something like this before they even give the company a call to figure out what they can do.

Expecting AG to give you a bunch of free stuff because you had some issues with sprayers is ridiculous.

No need to start bad publicity for AG due to a couple issues (that isn't even AG's fault!).

Seems as though more of these are popping up lately. AG does make mistakes but it's how they fix those mistakes and makes things right that I love about them. This is why I order most of my products through them. Their customer service is great and if I have an issue they are more than happy to resolve it in a timely and professional manner.

It is a good thing they are such a great group of people that care about the customer despite being kicked in the face over a 50 cent sprayer. Many companies would tell them to take a hike which I think given the circumstances would be appropriate.

Just call Penny, or e-mail Meghan. Autogeek has the best customer service of any industry. I've spoken to Max personally concerning a large purchase i made, he's the true meaning of a CEO that still knows how to treat a customer right. I can't stand people who try to take advantage of a company that knows how to treat the customer with integrity and kindness first and foremost. I guess also, i'm afraid of bad Karma.:autowash:
 
I agree with all of you, went home last night to a nice surprise, my Memorial day present to myself. :xyxthumbs:

Of course the wife is like.. umm did you tell me about this and I said of course, this is the DA "GG6" we talked about a month or so ago that will make your new CRV sparkle.. Any hoo... After going through all the items and thousands of peanuts last night a pair of micro-fibers were MIA... quick call and 30 seconds later they are on there way to being shipped...


Why people cant just pick up the phone and talk to someone is beyond me... 1000% satisfied with my second order from AG and look forward to MANY more over the coming years.
 
I have a few extra bottles with fine mist sprayers that I no longer use. I could solve the problem real quick with a shipping label.
 
That wouldn't help.......send him a new car with it or you have poor customer service.
