After coating my car last month with PBL paint coating and topping with Synergy I wanted to let it “go” for a while and collect dirt, dust, and whatever else Mother Nature had in mind for it. After letting the car go for a while to get dirty I had the time to put a shine back on it. After washing the wheels and tires first before starting on the paint, I noticed the panels of the fenders immediately around the wheels were beading water like crazy from being splashed from the hose! I couldn't believe with all the filth on the car how well the paint was beading! After spraying the car down to knock the dirt off, the whole car was beading even while covered with filth. Pictures to follow up down below…

PBL Diamond Coating Shampoo
Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Coating Shampoo
•Very nice pump head dispenser
•Color: Cherry
•Consistency: Very thick gel like soap
•Scent: After shave lotion
•Feel: After swishing the wash media around hand felt squeaky clean albeit soapy
•Performance: Great cleaning ability while rinsing clean and leaving nothing on the surface
Impressions: After getting the 2 buckets setup for washing duty and pumping in the required amount of soap, I noticed the thick gel like soap didn't breakup upon coming into contact with the water. The stream of soap from each pump slithered to the bottom of the bucket and rested. Only after agitation did the soap break up. After agitating the mixture it produced ample amount of suds. They were by no means thick and fluffy like some other soaps nor were they flat. When pulling my hand from the bucket I rubbed my fingers together to feel the lubricity of the soap. The lubricity was there however my fingers felt darn near squeaky clean after the water dripped away. This is due to the soap being formulated to strip away whatever is on the paint and leave nothing but the coating.
PBL Diamond Coating Detailer
Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Coating Detailer
•Nicest pump action sprayer heads with beautiful atomization
•Color: Clear
•Consistency: Watery
•Scent: None
•Performance: Sprays on thin and wipes away effortlessly
PBL Diamond Coating Booster
Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Coating Booster
•Nicest pump action sprayer heads with beautiful atomization
•Color: Clear
•Consistency: Marginally thicker than water
•Scent: IPA mixture
•Performance: Performs like a diluted version of PBL paint coating (obvious formulation differences)
Impressions: Both of these products behaved similar to one another in that the Detailer felt that it had a bit more cleaning power to remove light dusting from the surface and wiped away cleanly whereas the Booster applied like a thinner version of the PBL paint coating and had to be wiped away in a sense if you didn't you could potentially leave high spots.
The dirty test subject
PBL Diamond Coating Shampoo with ample suds
I have not washed this car yet! Only sprayed it down to get the loose dirt off.
Look how that dirty paint still beads!
After washing with the PBL Shampoo
Crazy beading from "Sheeting the water off"
Finished up
Conclusion: Having dedicated coating maintenance products on the market now surely helps keeping your coating performing the way it was intended. Using dedicated products for its intended application not only helps revive its respective co-component but further enhances its performance without the negative qualities such as using a traditional spray sealant.
