Ya know if AG gave us apples we'd want tomatoes, if they gave us tomatoes we'd want fish. This place really does have about as wide of a variety and offers as many brands as any detailing site on the Internet. It's nice to be able to wish for more (and we always will) but I've got to hand it to AG, they really do us a great service by carrying the selection they do. At one time or another I've purchased from just about every on line detail store out there. In my opinion there are 2 other stores that are in the same league as AG and this group is miles ahead of the competition. I'm sure if you visit other detailing boards it isn't hard to know who these stores are. Yes, I still purchase from one of them but I try to spend my money equally between that store and AG. Combine the selection AG offers with their no BS great customer service and you've got a real winner. Seriously what more could we ask for? Now if they could only move that new warehouse a little closer to Utah..... well..... maybe just some nice halibut will do.:D

And Arizona has no rain can you imagine the product testing they can do :)

We all have a list of additional items that cannot be currently found within the pages of AG, but as Gearhead alluded there is also alot of products here that you are all missing. (I suspect many still have not actually tried the Clearkote line)

Just remember, dont get your heart set on seeing a product here. Every company named has been solicited at one time or another. These companies may have another agenda, they may have territorial rights, and they may be at capacity with current products they can produce. Truthfully its not in the cards currently, and might never be. So take the time to enjoy whats here, and look at moving deeper into a line, more so than just a spray detailer. Jason and Max are always looking to add a line or two, but spend just as much time improving PBMA's three main lines to be the best of the best !

:iagree: totally with what you're saying Killr (& GearHead). AG definitely has top notch customer service and one of the widest selections of detailing supplies on the internet. :applause: :righton:

I started this thread 90% for the entertainment value. I was curious to see what other people were buying outside of Autogeek. Personally, I know I would LOVE to do 100% of my shopping at AG but I know that might not actually happen because of the varying agendas of different detailing manufacturers.

Undoubtedly in every order I make with AG there is at least one product I have never tried if not more and I have certainly managed to switch over several of my favorites to AG products.

Also, with the new larger wharehouse, I thought AG might be interested in some customer feedback as to what product lines their most frequent customers would like to see added.

On that note Scott I agree,The Geek has a line of products that many couldn't have enough cars to try them on. Some products mentioned belong exclusively to one site or another and i doubt the amount of business they do their looking to out source. I have many, many of the items AG sells 99% of them may have been used once and probably not even on my vehicle mostly on details i was paid to do. There are some very good sites/sponsors out there, guys take a look at and see if they carry half the products AG has and do the sales and give aways that is offered here. We have the Rolls Royce of sponsors if you wanna try out a Cadilac place an order with them try out the items lets the forum members know your thoughts. Don't take generosity for weakness, you'll find no one who gives back as much as AG..

Max calls the shots,Jason,Mehgan make it happen
Scott, jen Mehgan are here to help on a full time basis how much more as customers can we ask for without sounding greed or unappreciative..

MikeyC,you beat by 4 minutes. I can't type for sh*t LOL

just to let you know .... its always on everyones mind. Jason just PM'd friday asking me to list several new product lines to suggest to Max. He also knows me well enough to warn me Menzerna still is not ready for AG status. (theyd probably have to sell 085Rd in the states again after AG).

So yes we will likely see additional lines in the future, but please, dont get ahead of the game. Dig into the special values, and use the discounts (like the 15% off movit) to try some products that are hidden gems.

Scott you know for the past year my wife has never discouraged me from ordering any items, the other day she was basement with my neighbor(who is a Fem CPD) cleaning up the peanuts and tossing out my old shipping boxs she said when her friend seen the items her jaw dropped to the floor.(good thing she didn't see in the garage :D )

This is why i bring it up. I said Lori AG has to move there having a 15% sale, now my wife is the sweetest lady you'll ever meet what came out her mouth. Hey i have a duty to help out AG as well you know make it easier for them to carry less items :grouphug:

Bullet/head where two of the words used in the sentence, whatta trouble maker my neighbor is:p I think in a week or so she'll forget :D

Just out of curiousity (and of course knowing that Autogeek will not necessarily carry these brands) what did you suggest?

I hope everyone keeps in mind that this thread is for entertainment purposes. Kind of like the game people play where someone says "if I gave you one million dollars what would you buy?"

Hmmm .... should I share my personal thoughts. Ok ...

Menzerna (wont happen)
Einszett (also wont happen)
Duragloss
Finish Kare
Chemical Guys (scratched that, too beta)
Werkstatt (he cannot handle our stock needs, personal opinion)
Zymol Estate Line

Now these were in no particular order ...

Yeah. I'm sure that AG will not be able to carry Menzerna as I recall the brand being pulled from other webstores that were selling it. I don't know why but my guess was either politics or an inability to provide sufficient amounts of product.

Also, as much as I love Zymol Estate Glazes I'd be surprised if AG picked up that line. I'm sure Zymol would have no problem supplying AG, but even though it's at a slightly higher price point I would think Zymol might canabalize Pinnacle sales. As Pinnacle is an "in house" brand I'm sure AG would not be hot on the idea of picking up a line in direct conflict with their own.

Having used most of the Estate line, well except the 1750.00 and 7000.00 options, I can tell you Souveran paste would handle them quite well. It looks better than Concours and Ital at 1/2 or 1/3 the pricing. I could tell very little difference against Destiny. Big thing with Zymol is they dont like public "sales" or "discounts" on their products. Act like Michellin tires ...... so we will see.

I wasn't really referring to product performance only that the two lines appeal to the same demographic. It would be kind of like owning a Burger King and a McDonalds and putting them in the same building.

That's interesting that Zymol doesn't like public "sales" or "discounts." There are many, many brands out there looking to maintain a premium brand image and won't allow their products to be put on sale or sold at discount outlets. Interesting to see that there is a company in the car care industry that has taken this tact.

Competition is a good thing. Ever wonder why McDonalds and Burger King often sit across the street from each other?
