Competition is a good thing. Ever wonder why McDonalds and Burger King often sit across the street from each other?

I've actually done research on that. It's because McDonalds spends the most on site/market research while the other chains spend little. So, since the other chains do little research on where to put their restaurants they capitalize on McD's market/site research by putting up their restaurants near McD's locations. This is why McD's will typically open first and then the other chains will pop up in the same area shortly after.

Here's what I wonder . . . ever see a Starbucks across the street from another Starbucks? What's up with that?

I agree with with everybody on this post, that AG is definitely has top notch customer service. So thank you AG for your outstanding service.
I had a few people ask me where I got my sponges, I sent Meghan the info, so that Max or the power that may be at AG can take a look at them.

If you're talking about the DF Magic Cube on their website they show those as white. Plus aren't they a clay substitute? I think Sparkie uses these for dressing application.

I think your right about being a clay substitute . I wonder if it used as bug remover with something like PB's BS, basicaly it would be doing the same thing. I noticed DF dropped the $$ on Ebay..

I believe DF just lowered all their prices by like 20%. They also started offering bulk discounts.

rather than introducing some new products, why not make some bundle deals? like a starters kit for example. an assortment of products, perhaps in sample sizes so people new to the scene can get all they need in one whack. or maybe some deals on common combinations of products?

small sizes are hard to fill, still need same manpower, and usually cost similar to ship as the bigger bottles. This is why AG offers so many kits, to reduce costs, and allow you to use products that have been proven to work well. Your just getting full size products.

Hmmm .... should I share my personal thoughts. Ok ...

Menzerna (wont happen)
Einszett (also wont happen)
Duragloss
Finish Kare
Chemical Guys (scratched that, too beta)
Werkstatt (he cannot handle our stock needs, personal opinion)
Zymol Estate Line

Now these were in no particular order ...

Marketing 101: Make your product easily accessible by all. In other words, to get traffic going in both directions.:D

There would have to be a lot of traffic going each way to justify double overhead.

Anyway, Lewis Black did a bit about the first time he saw two Starbucks across the street from each other. I think he called that spot the end of the earth.

In a city like L.A., there IS a lot of traffic going each way. We're spoiled and don't like to be inconvenience by having to turn around. I wouldn't be surprised to see something like that here in more affluent communities.

3M Painter's tape, Green and Blue might be good for some people that have a hard time finding it....

Spotfree water filters

I would love to see AG carry Zymol Estate Glazes. IMO it wouldn't majorly impact their sales of Souveran as all the EGs are priced above it and I'm sure based on the prices the profit margins are either huge for the manufacturer or the distributors or both.

But really I'd be curious to see if the Zymol bashing which occurs on most detailing boards would grow silent when a well respected detailing supply house like AG carries the brand.

How about some stuff for under the hood? Maybe colored looms with matching cable ties or battery mats with tie downs? Designer liners with logo clips? They are inexpensive enough to keep in inventory, and are likely to be ordered along with exterior products. By spending time in the engine bay people would use more products on the sparkly and shiny parts. AG zen.
