Yes, don't think there's an answer.I really can't answer the last question as the value add is so subjective; but I think your question was intended to be rhetorical.
That's where I am. In my environment a coating needs to be clayed, which likey mars it. And scratches accumulate regardless of claying. After a year or so most of us likely want to polish them out. The only non-destructive option I know of is Essence Plus.Maybe the longest lasting coating isn't the *best* coating for a car you care about and is out in the world daily. Especially if you have a fondness for black cars.
