Pros and cons of the Flex 3401 and Traditional DA, IMO....

Here is what should have been said ......"Well people who tried the KBM of polishing were blowing up thier machines because they are FNG's and bogged down the motor".

There a much different and accurate description of what happened.

Well, you claimed it's my "technique", like I'm incompetent. I'm far from incompetent. If I felt I was, I would admit it. Do you question Kevins or Chads technique with the Flex 3401? Is it not ok that I agree with them?
That's about a 9 on the tension scale mark. Take it easy! No one is questioning your manhood.

All tools and products have there place, use what gets you the results your looking for, wether it be a tool, technique or product. It's a good thing to try new ideas, and approaches to your mission because what works great for one person might not work for another, so break out your charge card and blow your life savings right now at ag.net!! Lol hope I get commission for that last plug!

Man..this is getting way off the original post..Mark was only intending to give pros and cons..did not push technique or machines one way or the other. As we know there are good points and bad with each machine and process and no ONE process/machine is the "end all" to any post. It goes back to Mike Phillips' advice on EACH situation is different (paint, pad, compound, outside elemets..etc) so for me..best "one pass" cutting=Flex 3401 and for other finesse stuff or multi pass detailing=other DA's..they both do the same thing..just one takes longer.
