This gets really annoying after awhile. There must be hundreds of pictures of work I did on other company sites! Here is the latest I just had emailed to me.

This speak volumes about the character of the the thief in question. Many of you will recongnize the picture from the Lamborghini event we detailed for a few years ago.

So moral of the story- protect your pictures.

Wow so messed up. I seen those pics on MOL couple months ago. I can't believe people can't do their own work and post their own stuff. Need to steal.... so sad.

You guys do great work! I show that thread to my friends and still amazing at the work you guys do.

I agree. I'm going to call and ask they take them down or I'll take further action. My wife said to leave a negative comment on yelp. Good idea! I wonder who elses work they have taken?

This stuff disguise me. Yeah give me link, I will also leave a negative comment.

I'm wondering what other pics he stole.

You can watermark your photos via Photoshop and stuff. Either way you SHOULDN'T have to do that. So pathetic how lame these amateurs are.

ive seen some of those ferrari pictures i think posted here too. Also they had a picture of i think a maybach that they said was scotchguarded, you could clearly see the picture was a professional picture, not a picture a detailer would take (granted detailers do take some nice pictures) but it was far above the quality of just a detail. Its companies like this that sicken me.

That sucks! Though I suppose if you wanted to look for a positive way to see things it's a compliment to you that they are stealing your pics -- even if their own work is crap, they do have enough sense to know good work when they see it!

wow thats f***ed up. I would absolutely say something to them, That's called FALSE advertisement. I don't understand how someone could do that. BTW nice detail job on that fleet:xyxthumbs:, that must of been a load of fun!

Edit: Agreed with shiny^^ at least your a star:dblthumb2:

They have a Contact Us area where you can leave a comment if you want to. Just go to the bottom of the page.

Watermarking and disabling "right click" are two of the easiest way to avoid people from stealing your work.

The code for no right clicking on images is below. Copy and paste the following code, and make sure it comes right after your <HEAD> tag:

<script language="JavaScript">
<!-- var popup="Sorry, right-click
is disabled.\n\nThis Site Copyright ©2000"; function noway(go) { if
(document.all) { if (event.button == 2) { alert(popup); return false; } } if (document.layers)
{ if (go.which == 3) { alert(popup); return false; } } } if (document.layers)
{ document.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEDOWN); } document.onmousedown=noway; // -->
</script>

The proof will come when some poor sap hires this idiot and his or her sled comes out wrecked! I understand your frustration, but these things have a way of taking care of themselves.

If they want the pic, they'll get it.

File
Save Page As
Open the location you saved the page, and there it is, along with a folder containing all of that page's files. Hard to stop scumbags from, well, being scumbags...

Mozilla Firefox makes it even more easier than that. You're right, if they want it, it can easily be taken. The best bet is to use a visible watermark. They'll have to do more work to claim it as their own.

If you are lucky he is just linking the images to your site, and you can change them to something horrible so they show up on the other site.

Guess it is time to start watermarking
