Quick Detailers

I'm such a newbie I have no idea what the difference is between "gloss" and "glow" Maybe it will just take time.
Your right Jenn, it will take time to notice the difference between a sealant which gives a nice reflective shine (hard candy shine) vrs. a quality nuba which gives a warmer glow. If you did a 50/50 you would be hard pressed to see the difference. Do it on two different cars with the same color and there would be a noticeable difference. The newer sealants are so good it's getting harder to tell the difference.

I guess that is why I couldn't tell the difference when I did half the hood in the new megs GC+ and half in Max wax. Or when I did the hood in Wolfie sealant and the rest of the pilot in 845.

It's all in the prep work, Jenn. You can put Turtle Wax on one half and Zymol Vintage on the other and they both will look good on a properly polished paint.

This is true, that's why I would never spend over $50 on a wax or sealant. If even $50...

I agree the prep is important and while most products are design to work together some combo's look better with each other.I used to love megs #135 however when I stepped up my prep game and used different sealants and waxes it no longer did the job. I now use FK 425(in the crystal mist bottle)and for extra cleaning(bird droppings) I use crystal mist. Try a few and see what works best for you, your sure to find something that will give you that pop we all look for.
