While detailing after a camping trip I came across an area that I have neglected for some time. It is the rubber piece that all the wires go through in my door jamb. I would like to say that door jambs are one of my favorite things to detail. When I tried to clean the rubber in the past I had no luck (or any product intended for the job).
So, a while ago I accidentally ordered 2 different trim products, Poorboy's Trim restorer from AGO and ## Extreme VRP from DI (funny that they both smell the same, like coconut suntan lotion). When I came across the rubber piece this time I was prepared
and my first thought was to do a quick reveiw.
See where I tried to clean the rubber a over a year ago?
For reference I taped a line across. First up was Chemical Guys V.R.P. on the bottom half. Without anything to compare against I was very impressed with how easily the bulk of the white crap came off but it wasn't perfect. Then I switched to the Poorboy's. I tried my best to give equal effort.
The Chemical Guys wasn't bad, about equal in the looks department, but the Poorboy's was absolutely superior in performance. So I hit the whole thing again with that.
Then the tires
