Intro:
This product needs a review pretty badly. I added this wash to my order because it was on sale for $24.99, and at the time of this review it is on sale for $34.99. IMO, the Pinnacle XMT GS&C is a great maintenance wash. I had the day off today so I figured my truck needed a wash.
Product description (http://www.autogeek.net/xmt-gel-shampoo-128.html)
Pinnacle XMT Gel Shampoo & Conditioner cleans your vehicle and enhances it with natural paint conditioners. Your vehicle is left looking shiny, slick, and beautifully clean after every car wash
Product claims.
1. Provides a safe wash.
True. The paint was not further swirled, marred or scratched.
2. Renews the shine of existing wax with nourishing oils and polymers.
True. The Collinite #845 beaded just as good, if not better, than after the wax had originally cured. ( 1 ½ weeks ago.)
3. Reduces water spots.
True. The tailgate of my s10 dried before I had a change to dry it. No water spots; and even more surprising, no streaks!
4. Does not strip wax or paint sealants.
True. #845 still doing well!
Product observations:
1.Packaging: Standard one gallon white jug. Child safety cap. Colorful XMT label
2.Color: Light Blue
3.Texture: Liquid gel.
4.Scent: J & J Baby Shampoo?!?
5.Ease of use: Very easy.
6.Cost: Regular Price: 12oz.: $12.99. 64oz.: $29.99. 128oz.: $49.99
7.Country of origin: U.S.A

Bucket
Mad Skills!!
Process.
When I review car washes, I always use a one bucket, no grid guard method. As obscene as this sounds, I find it the best way to test the validity and effectiveness of the lubricants in the wash. You can usually feel and hear marring. This time was no different.
I used 2oz. in about 3 gallons of water. I had to let the suds settle a bid. Normally I would fill the bucket up and add the wash product last and mix well. But that doesn’t make for good pictures. The car was washed top down. Here we go: :checkit:
The roof.
The hood.
The fender:
Behind the wheel.

Final thoughts:
I really liked using the Pinnacle XMT GS&C. I was surprise that the wash helped prevent streaks and water spots better than the DP I’ve used (albeit, I used twice as much of the XMT). I’ll have to try the DP at the same dilution in the future so it’s fair. The results we close to the WG, although the smell wasn’t as pleasant, and I’ve never use WG on a protected vehicle (sadly). I’m planning to wash the truck again with WG in about two weeks for a good comparison. I would like to see how dependant the results were on the two coats of #845. The XMT is at an immense value right now as it is on sale. I’m skeptical is the product is worth the full price. I will try other wash products this summer and maybe have a conclusion of the best wash products. So far, this one’s really good, but I plan on trying Dodo B2BM, and DG 901.
Well, I had a pretty good day off today; slept till two, washed the truck, and wrote a quick product review. Now time to sit back and relax!
