Quick tip about Chemical Guys Inner Clean...

I picked some at DF but have not had a chance to use it.

Megis QID but I read the bottle and it says nothing about having protective properties. Inner clean is a cleaner AND a protectant.
Meguiars claims that it does have UV protection, but that fact they don't advertise it, makes me think it doesn't have very much.

IC > all

Unfortunately, UV protection is a claim that cannot be substantiated especially when they try to equate it to SPF ratings based upon skin response. It is great for marketing idea and just having published endorsements does not really prove anything. Even dirt and mud can provide UV protection.

For most people, the car designers (choosing the plastics) have a far greater effect on whether a material will fade or crack.

Great information Mark! :props:

There nothing that I don't like about 1Z Cockpit Premium other than the price and I imagine the Chemical Guys product is much more reasonably priced..

Thanks for passing this along Mark!! :dblthumb2:

I LOVE INNER CLEAN! I used this product on a car over the weekend and immediately fell in love. Don't get me wrong, 1Z CP is a fantastic product and just about ordered a 10L jug. But after the first use of Inner Clean I determined a gallon of this will be in my collection very, very soon! Thanks Mark! :D

I finally used Inner Clean this past weekend. It has a nice scent and seemed to do a good job. Like Meg's QID and 1z CP it does not really leave any lasting sheen except clean.

IC and CP are very similar products. IC easily has the best scent, IMO, and that's what wins me over. IC also might be the slightest bit more matte than CP. I prefer these 2 much more than QID.

I haven't used I.C., but I have been using CG Satin Shine. It's got just a little bit of shine to it, but after buffing, it just looks clean. I've been super pleased with it and it has a nice clean smell.

Inner Clean is great! I just used it for the first time and it is my new Interior Weapon of Choice! Clean & matte, NICE! AG needs to sell the gallon size!!
