So this weekends detail was for my friend Tim who was getting his baby prepped for a car show. It's a 40th Anniversary (2004) Mustang Mach 1 in beautiful Competition Orange. I wish I did a cold-start video because with Long Tuber Headers and a Borla Exhaust, this car sounds amazing! He has loads of other upgrades done to it and thus it was time to fix up the paint and help it look as good as it sounds and likely runs.
Overall the car was pretty clean but loaded with 47k miles and 17yrs+ of swirls and some contamination. The plan here was to do a full correction on the paint, restore the trim to Black and lock it all in with a good quality Ceramic Coating.
Process here was the usual: Flex Polishers, Orange Lake Country Pads, CarPro UltraCut to get the rough stuff and then gloss refined with CarPro Essence & White Polishing Pads. Shine locked in with CarPro SiC, Trim with CarPro Dlux and Wheels with GYEON Q2 RIM
Now onto the pics. Not the best or most ideal time of day with the sun up high, but I gotta work around rain and more so here they are.
