I tried Tar X . It did not do a good Job....I would not buy it again..
.
I wonder if the same can be said for Tarminator?I wouldnt discount tar x by its sap removing capabilities as its primary function is tar removal

I completely forgot I had some of this. I just tested it vs. Tarminator on some baked on grime on the paint.Another good one to try is the 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner. That stuff will dissolve just about anything without hurting paint.
I don't think it has enough IPA in it to deal with tough sap.if IPA works then why not try Eraser?
The trick would be keeping the eraser on the tar spots as I imagine it's pretty runny

3M > Tarminator

Hey Art,Mark,
Any luck getting that sap off your car? I just ran into the same problem. I washed my car yesterday and found sap all over, it did not release easily and there is more to remove.
Thanks,
Sparty (Art)
