Thanks to EVERYONE for your fantastic and very helpful suggestions. I've read all 4 parts of the 2006 NBP Acura TL blog and MAN was that amazing! I learned a lot from just that one blog, especially how to avoid re-scratching the post-restored finish as a result of incorrect washing and drying technique for the oh-so-sensitive NBP paint.
As soon as the temps and humidity take a break I'm going to try the least aggressive approach, starting with Meg's Ultimate Polish or Pinnacle XMT Ultrafine Swirl Remover on a black polishing pad and let y'all know what resulted. Since the car has only been out in the open for a few months and has never been driven in rain or snow there's a good chance it won't need to be clayed, but I will use the gentlest bar if not.
Thanks again for all your help :xyxthumbs:
