Not being able to leave well enough alone, I'm trying some carnauba over applied WG Uber Ceramic. First up was Dodo Purple Haze, think I wanna try some WG Fuzion next.

What's the best way to remove the carnauba without affecting the underlying Ceramic Coating? Asked the Wolfgang guys if Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer would do it and they 'seemed' say it would but their answer was a bit unclear

Anyone have any thoughts?

I am not positive, but I would think the Perfekt Paint Prep would work best, it has no abrasives to harm the coating but will remove existing waxes. I would use that if I had to take a guess. Others will soon chime in.

As long as there are no abrasives in the cleaning polish, you're ok. Chemical cleaners won't compromise the coating. I'd apply by hand with a non abrasive MF applicator or foam pad. Any coating prep product would work as well.

Got me some WG Perfect Finish Paint Prep...maybe that'd work as well.

Leave it be.... the carnauba will deteriorate on its own.

Just use CarPro eraser. Spray it on and wipe it off. Wax is so last decade. lol

I realize that topping a coating generally makes no sense; If I only did stuff that made sense my life would be kinda empty.

Gonna try some Kamikaze Overcoat.

I agree
I proudly put sealants and waxes on top of coatings. I don't care if it's throwing money down the drain to be honest ;) I have many reasons for doing so but I feel like that explaining myself would be as productive as debating politics between 2 stubborn people.

Well why not top a coating with wax? I have my car coated with cquartz uk but I like to put on pinnacle black label synergy. I find the car just has that extra gleam in the sun. Besides, I think most of us here just have tons of different products just because we enjoy experimenting.
