Hi all!
I'm working my new-to-me MKZ and trying to undo some of the fun stuff the dealer left behind for me on the finish. After a thorough washing, I set out with my trusty little Nanoskin Autoscrubby sponge to remove what I thought was just a light layer of "lot grime" but I found instead that it is fairly thick overspray...everywhere.
The attached picture is a shot of the hood. The area closest to the camera and some of the splotchy areas in the background are where the Scrubby has worked it's magic and revealed the paint but it's taken me about an hour to do maybe a quarter of the hood and the rest of the car will require about as much effort by the looks of it. The little nanoskin sponge is making progress but this just might a bit much for it.
I'm planning on working in some Wolfgang TSR and glaze, anyway, so I was wondering if that combo will take care of this little mess w/o having to waste a couple of days with the Scrubby? Or, am I better off removing the overspray first?
Thanks!
