"Reputation Management" - Chem Guys

Smartwax is the consumer line of CG products, hence the "professional" designation on the CG labeled stuff. Much more streamlined product offering with consumer line. Directed to different markets.

I've seen Smartwax products sold at my local car dealers. Along with Meguiars cunsumer line at a decent mark up.

I guess I don't care. I have several cg items and I like all of them. I don't read the reviews. I just look at the descriptions and buy them. I have citrus wash and gloss shampoo, 5050, v7, black light, clear seal, stripper scent, and synthetic quick detailer.

True story.... I literally just emailed one of there employees about silk shine giving me issues and between a few emails we determined the issues could be an odd bottle and they would swap it. But overall confidence in the knowledge of the product and customer service seemed very odd/off.... I think ill be keeping with there soaps and dropping the rest....

I've been using Silk Shine for two years and have never had an issue. I have also tried most every other like products (not all but a lot) and it's by far my favorite interior detailer hands down. Good enough that I invested in a gallon.

I've just trusted you all here and on ACC to feel out a CG product. I have bought/used Citrus Wash Red and Fabric Clean. Been happy with both those. I haven't tried any high hype stuff from them though. Just ordered the leather cleaner, leather conditioner, offensive odor eliminator (picked this over regular odor elim b/c of dilution) and allclean+. Pretty much all these I based on comments from people on this forum.

Isn't it obvious? I happen to rate Jetseal pretty highly. Nevertheless, its fairly obvious the CG people do this. Use your noggin and you can separate the wheat from the chaff. Look at what else the person has rated. Did they rate a lot of obscure stuff that no one cares about? That's a clue.

Look at the review itself. I pay a lot more attention to the mid-range reviews. A review with all positives and vague positives doesn't mean much.
