Rescuing a 2011 Black Cat - Jaguar EXTREME Makeover!

Gorgeous car and great detail job....you really restored this one back to life!

Beautiful job! Did you use much pressure with the 3401?

Just a little, I find I don't need to lean into the Flex like I did with the 7424XP. Perhaps on some of the really bad spots I might have added a bit more pressure but generally speaking, light to moderate pressure got the job done. Light pressure when using the SF4000.

Makes sense. The consensus is, generally speaking, to lighten up on the pressure with the 3401(compared to a RO).

Personally speaking I cannot muscle the Flex - if I try it will "walk" on me. Moderate to light pressure allows me to get/keep the pad flat to the paint and then it's a breeze to control. Because of this, I'm much less tired after a full day running the 3401 then the 7424XP. Don't tell Nick but once I used the Flex, there was no going back - it's an amazing tool.
