Thanks to Nick for including this product as well.

This is another new product from the Blackfire line. It's a liquid carnauba spray wax. It has a great candy like smell. I used two microfiber towels. One to spread the product out and the other to buff off.

The bottle states to spray it onto the surface which I did. Very little is needed. In general 1-2 spritzes will get the job done. Larger panels will need a bit more.

It spreads out effortlessly and buffs off just as easily. The slickness while removing is impressive. The gloss it gives is amazing.

The test subject was my 2002 Arctic white Camaro SS with 14K miles. This is the garage queen and I have not waxed or sealed it in over a year. It's definitely time to recoat but for now the spray wax will have to do.

White may not be the flashiest color but it sure does look good. I was losing day light after I had washed the car.

I typically use D156 as my go to spray wax for my cars and to be honest I am not a carnauba spray wax kind of guy. But I was very impressed with this one. I have to say this is just as easy to use as D156 and the look Blackfire gives is amazing. It gives D156 a run for it's money. I will definitely be using this more and more. Great addition to the Blackfire line.

Waiting for my order to try it on my Arctic White Vette...Looks good my OCD is kicking in again :)

Very nice write up The Guz! That camaro's looking nice and glossy.

Guz, I'm with ya man! Good review, great test subject too!!!

I'm liking this stuff! I used it again on another vehicle last night!

Thanks guys. I'm going to use it again as well on my daily. It's great stuff.

You need to do a side by side vs d156. I'm thinking there would be no difference in the look. Of course it's hard to tell through pics anyway....seems like every car you guys work on look all shiny no matter the lsp!

Will this stuff work equally well in 35 degree northeast cold, or on paint so hot you can't touch it..?...Megs D156 does. Time will tell, but I suspect its about looks for most people, and midnight sun is hard to argue against in the looks dept.

I may do that but my cars are both light in color so I don't expect to see any difference between the two.

Unfortunately you are asking the wrong guy about the cold application. I'm in Southern California and it doesn't get that cold in my area. I don't usually touch paint that hot. Being both my cars are light colored I wouldn't notice much of a difference.

I'll have to let Nick answer that one.

You would be lying to yourself if you thought you noticed a difference between the look of the two on a single panel.

I read this all the time and can't help but shake my head. To really get an idea which product is glossier, you need to apply it to the entire vehicle, observe it for a few days, gather the opinions of others around you, strip the product off, then apply the second product and repeat the process all over again. :dblthumb2:

Thanks Nick. In one of the other reviews it was stated that the user noticed that the slickness increased after curing. I have to completely agree. I noticed the same thing even though this car spends a lot more time in the garage

In regards to d33p, I will let you in on a little secret. D156 has a hint of carnauba in it.

Exactly Nick.

And what a great review.

As for Nick's advice that's how I have and will always do it. Not a fan of side by side comparisons, as if I had the time to do that anyway.

In the three years I have had my Genesis Coupe I've had the following on it at different times.

I have documented each one in my personal detailing photo log, here's just a few. I can say that I see the differences, some more obvious and some more subtle between the products. Some are wetter, some warmer, some shinier and some deeper. Bottom line, they all looked great.

Pinncale Souveran, Blackfire Black Ice, Wolfgang Fuzion, DoDo Purple Haze, DoDo Supernatural, Pinnacle Black Label DP Sealant and Blackfire Wet Ice over Fire Combo which is what I have on it right now.

I will be maintaining this current combination over the summer solely with the new Blackfire MSC Spray Wax. So we'll see how that goes.

WET ICE OVER FIRE COMBO

Pinnacle Black Label Sealant:

THIS STUFF IS SICK!!!

And you can easily see the difference beteen this and BF Wet Ice Combo.

CAN YOU SAY BEADS!!!

Nick Id probably forget what it looked like by then lol Also any change in lighting can skew the results.

Interesting

I'm looking forward to trying out the new Blackfire Spray Wax this weekend.

I will say that when it comes to all the products I've had on my GC it was the hardest decision to remove the Pinnacle Black Label Sealant and try something else. That stuff is just that darn good. I used the PBL Paint Cleanser and One, yes just One Coat of the Sealant and the results imho were outstanding. And I have and love WG, and BF Sealants. That stuff is just a notch above.

I received a complimentary bottle from Nick to experiment with on my GC over the summer and couldn't resist trying it out yesterday on the Camaro I detailed back in May. This hasn't been touched isnce then, no other detailing sprays etc since I did the car in early May.

It works great, smell s great too. I would highly recommend this product, and I have also used BFWDPS spray for a few years now.
