I have used this product for the past 3 months on my car and I do like it. I was using Meg's endurance tire gel and did like it, but it leaves a gross film on your tire after a week of driving. This tire gel is a lot easier to remove with APC, but stays on just as long. Since it is water based, you can use it on plastic trim etc. It has been on my engine for 3 months and it still looks great! Stay tuned for pictures through out the week till the next wash.

Pros:
1. Smells like cherry but not an overpowering cherry
2. It is water based
3. Very easy to apply
4. Good durability (will put it to the test again over the week)
5. Absolutely no sling what so ever and no need to wipe it down after application
6. It can be layered for more shine

Cons:
1. It does come fly off on the applicator a little before it is actually applied (this happens because it has a very air like consistency, but no big deal if you don't go around the tire fast in the beginning)

Tires were cleaned with APC+ and a stiff bristle brush before application.

Note: Hard to capture the color right, but it is a light pink.

Nice looking product! I may get the Total Eclipse as my next "boutique" product,or at least a sample of it.

Nice! I am on the fence about which tire shine free sample to order with my next AG order:

DP
Blackfire
Pinnacle
Wolfgang

I am leaning towards DP or Blackfire. Your review may have pushed me towards Blackfire!

I like the Eclipse gel as well. I got a free sample with my order and ordered a bottle shortly after.

I used this product all last year, very happy with the performance!

Update:
5 days and 75 miles later. Car also sat in a light rain on monday and sits outside from 8am-4pm everyday. Once again, no sling.

This is my go to tire dressing. I like it so much that I have not used anything else in a long time on my car.

It seems like as it sits on the tire throughout the week, The heavy shine goes away but there is still the right amount left. It makes the tire look brand new the longer it stays on.

I also noticed these strange areas from where it had been previously applied after I had cleaned the tire. Any idea what they are? Note that its not a shadow line, but actually there

Blackfire Total Eclipse Tire Gel is a high quality tire treatment which is durable and reasonably priced....:props:

This stuff is so good, I only re-apply it after a few washes. The tires look great !

Love this tire dressing. Here's my contribution to the thread.

Another update after 3 weeks and 2 days. Car and wheels have been washed twice since application, but tires were not cleaned.

Thanks for the updates. All reviews on this product have been great. Do you usually not clean your tires after every wash or was this for this test of endurance only? Not sure if it's just me but I have to clean my wheels and tires after every wash and that's every week. It's a disease.

great review, I recently used this again and no complaints. After my 2 samples run out I will be buying the fullsize of this tire gel.

No, I always clean my tires after every wash. Only did this for the endurance test and it gave me an excuse to not put tire shine on. I don't like doing it because my knuckles always get scuffed up when doing the front wheels because of little clearance when trying to get the top edge of the tire. Going to Atlanta from Charleston on Friday and will return on Tuesday. Should be a little over 650 miles round trip. Will apply 3 coats and will give some more updates. Will Post before and after pics and will also clean tires before application. Also note these past pictures were over 200 miles of driving.

Great Review.

Thanks for posting. Looks good :xyxthumbs:

I just currently applied Wolfgang black diamond tire gel to my tires and have been very impressed. 1 week and they look almost identical to the day I applied on tires.

Going to see what they look like in two weeks :props:
