Review: DP Prep Polish/Paint Coating

Ok, for those who've applied it to the entire car, does 1 spray mist cover an entire section, i.e. fender, half a hood or roof or do you need more? The reason I ask is because I applied the DPPC to all of my glass and my mirror caps. It flashes fast and wasn't sure what the actual spray amount was/is?

Thanks for input guys!

Klasse, I went a bit further an applied 2 to 3 mists per section that I worked and also after 24 hours applied a second application just to be sure all was covered.

It flashed very fast for me hence the reason for giving it a second mist.

Hope this helps.

It does Smack, I was thinkingg the same thing but wanted to hear from someone who did it w/o a problem. This stuff flashes waaay faster than your regular WOWA product but I expect its because of what its made out of.

I'll be using this on my wife's Mazda 6 in a couple weeks as its due for a full correction and I wanna see how it does on a car that's outside 24/7 and not washed as much and/or ran through our good drive through wash (yes, I found one).

Thanks again Smack!

Sure thing buddy.

Let us know how it goes on the wife's car. Interested to see how it holds up to everyday wear and tear.

I would do 2 mists per panel to ensure even coverage as it flashes pretty quick.

Nice job, Mike!! Not sure how it has any corrective abilities(towel marks) as it's a chemical cleaner?

Thanks Mark!

Those first few pictures were after a mild polishing session with SF4000.

After repeated wipe downs or QD sessions the prep polish may not be able to pull out toweling marks. But my jet black paint corrects pretty easily.

I will do that Smack, I'll even post pics too. I plan on doing a rinseless wash, clay bar, M101, re-wash w/ rinseless and then apply the DPPC per your 2-3 mists per panel. I'm expecting big results w/ this product for sure!
