Review: Kwazar Venus Super Compression Sprayer Pro

Ya, hast du das einverstanden Eldo?

Edit:

Poor memory, should be more like

verstehen sie Eldo?

I hadn't heard of these sprayer until after I ordered 3 Blackfire sprayers. They have that rounded bottom and are always falling over. Who designs a bottle with a round bottom? I wish I had seen these, I may have to replace the ones I bought.

Agreed about the bottoms but they sure work great and cost $30.00 less

That part doesn't hurt my feelings either. I was trying to think of a way to attach something to stabilize it. If I do I'll let you know.

I was looking for a spray bottle to use with my wheel brightener and saw this one in the AG store. Was a little pricey so I searched the forum and found this thread. After the first few pages I was convinced I would spend the 40 bucks and buy one but the more I read the less convinced I was.

First, I have to make sure I purchase the correct color to work with whatever product I plan to use it for? I don't see all the colors listed in the AG store.

Second, I am sure they all work well when new but how do they hold up over time? Has anyone used one for any length of time with good results? I don't want to be replacing seals and making repairs when I want to be detailing my car.

In my experience, when I pend the extra money for well made products, I am usually happy that I did. Although once in while I kick myself for not sticking with what i know works and a good spray bottle gets the job done and does not cost much.

I’ve had the red 1 for almost 2 months and it’s still working fine. I only use it for Wolfgang Uber & Megs D114.

If you’re looking to use it for Wheel Brightener you’d want the Black 1. Good luck, Wheel Brightener’s been known to eventually destroy sprayers and I’d be curious to see how long it holds up.

Whatever you do don’t weaken the dilution to anything below 4:1 just to try and preserve the Kwasar, that wouldn’t be worth your trouble. 4:1 and it better hold up it’s end of the bargain.

Make sure to update us if you decide to buy it.

@Crovello. Griots Garage just released their own version of pump sprayers. You might want to look at them and see if there’s a warranty on them. If there is you can rest assured because at least you know you can count on Griots to stand behind their product.

I will look into that. I really like the idea of a pump sprayer but don't want to pay forty bucks only to have it crap out in a few short months.

If you're recommending the black one because of the metal tip you don't want to do it. I've tried wheel cleaner and Iron remover in these and it didn't work out. It may have been the because the liquids were thicker, but after trying the sprayers wouldn't work at all. The importer of these bottles sent me some plastic tips to replace the metal ones and they work again.

Which wheel cleaner was it?

You’re right. I mistakenly said the black 1 is for acid based products but it’s actually the Red 1 that’s says it’s for acid. My mistake. If you ordered the black you better contact them and change it to red.

Nextzett makes a great pump sprayer also. AG should think about stocking that one too.

From the Griots product description, looks like it does not like solvent based cleaners.
"Note: Sprayer is not intended for use with Black Shine High Gloss Tire Spray, Chrome Wheel Cleaner, Undercarriage Spray, or liquids that contain acids or solvents."

I used the Kwazar Mercury spray bottle with some Wolfgang wheel cleaner, sprayer was destroyed in no time.

That’s interesting, thanks for the info.

So does that mean they expect everyone to only use it for PH balanced chemicals? That would be unrealistic? Or does that mean high alkaline is ok.
