Introduction:
Shane (CieraSL) sent me a sample of this product (which he had previously purchased) awhile back. He asked me to check it out and write a review. Thank you Shane! I got a chance to give the Menzerna Power Lock (MPL) a try along with some others last weekend.

Method of Preparation:

However I will add a video from after the 105 portion of the preparation. Hey, this is the closest thing to snow we see in Florida.

Moving Forward:
After 205 and 85RD

Method of Application and Noted Observations:
I had previously applied 1Z Glanz Wax to the passenger side. While it was drying it was time to apply MPL. First I allowed a couple drips to land on the front bumper to test for staining. Next I grabbed a fresh and clean 6 1/2" blue LC CCS pad and placed it on my Flex 3401. After applying a few drips of product I spread it across the drivers side of the hood and the front fender and worked it lightly for a few passes on a speed of 3. Part of the rear lid panel was hot and in the sun (uncovered by the canopy). MPL was also applied to all glass on the driver’s side including half of the rear glass and half of the windshield. Application was a joy and couldn’t have been easier.

Method of Removal and Noted Observations:
As soon as I was finished applying the MPL I armed myself with a quality MF buffing towel and came back around to remove it beginning at the start point (hood). It wiped off effortlessly. It left just the slightest amount of dust but not enough to even mention. I probably over applied a bit. Even so the very minimal dust (which you’ll see in the video) was not too static and it was very easily removed.

Additional Before/After on Rear Lid "Nephew Damage"

Here are a couple pictures of the before and after of the drivers side of the rear lid. This was corrected with M105 and Surbuff pad followed by 205 and 85RD. There were a couple scratches there that are too deep to take out safely.

Pros:
1.- A joy to apply (So Easy)
2.- A joy to remove (So Easy)

Final Observations and Summary:
Menzerna Power Lock is a top-notch sealant that is extremely easy to both apply and remove. The one con I list which is dusting really isn’t an issue. I prefer the removal of this product to the 1Z Glanz Wax so it’s a little unfair this product has a con listed while GW does not. The reason is the dust is something that is easily measured so even though it may be my fault for possible over application I feel compelled to place it as a con. Of sealants that require being buffed off I haven’t used a sealant that (all things considered) is more easily removed. I think Menzerna Power Lock is a great sealant regardless of who created it and where it is made. I look forward to the durability testing which will affect my opinion for better or worse.

After 5 days: (Duplicate from 1Z GW review)
This is the rear lid with Menz on the left and 1Z on the right. The 1Z really isn’t bad but holds onto the dust slightly more than the Menzerna. I suppose that’s the Carnauba at work. You can’t even see the dirt in one of the pictures. I thought it important to show that so you can see it realize isn’t an issue with either product.

Corey, another outstanding review and Menzerna Power Lock "is" my favorite sealant. The first time I applied it I was amazed how easy and thin it went on but when it came time to buffing it buffing was a dream... rops:

I let it cure overnight in the garage then topped it with Collinite 845 on one side and Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Wax on the other....talk about glow!! rops:

I'm up to trying new products, but not powerlock. I don't like "piggyback" companies. A lot of people think this is a Menzerna Germany product, and it's not. Again, I'm not saying it's a bad product, but they're mis-leading people, IMO. Anyhow, back on topic. :xyxthumbs:

Thank you! The thermometer/humidity gauge I purchased at a local cigar shop for probably around 20-25$. It records C or F and it records the highest and lowest humidity's and temperatures. In other words if you left it in you garage and then came back a day later you could push one of those 4 buttons and it will tell you what the highest and lowest temp erature and humidity has been as. I keeps track of the high and low until you push the reset button. Do you want me to see if theres a brand name on it? If so I'll get back to you when I get home tonight.

Good review Cee, I purchased a bottle of Power Lock back in January, now that the warm weather is here (somedays) can wait to try it out, I have tried allot of sealants, the 2 that impressd me the most have been Wolfgang 3.0 and BFWD

If you don't have an area cigar shop or they don't carry these, I got mine from Bargain Humidors on the web for 20 bucks. Made by Western, they're called a digital hygrometer. Yeah, I'm a cigar guy.

You can order then on Amazon.com also or if you don't want that particular model, Walmart sells temp/humidity gauges for a whole lot less. I ordered one just like CEE DOG's after he told me were he got it then a cheap one from walmart....got the same readings. Just my observation.
