Review: Metro Master Blaster

You are just the BEST! Thanks yet again for an amazing review!

I have been eyeing this thing for a while... But, there were no good videos of it being used. Thanks for doing this!

I am absolutely in love with mine and was an avid leaf blower. I dont find the warm air to be a big benefit, but surprised at how much more water it seems to move.

Btw: I meant to note and Jim reminded me that if anybody is worried about the 18 amps because they may be running a 15 amp circuit don't be worried. When you start the motors you can turn them on with a second between one another and you won't get that peak amperage. I am on a 15 amp breaker and haven't popped it once. I have turned on the motors as close to simultaneously as you can a couple times and didn't have any issue.

My guess it depends on your breakers. In my case, it tripped a 15A breaker after 4 or 5 min several times before I changed the breaker.

My garage was wired for 20A and had a 20A GFI in the first outlet but the circuit was moved when I had the kitchen was remodeled. I also tripped an 15A outlet strip too.

That's one of the most thorough reviews I've ever seen Corey.

Master Blaster appears to be a very powerful and well built machine and at 18 amps has enough muscle to do just about anything asked of it.

Bravo Corey! :props:

Thank you all for your input and posts. :)

I agree Scott. In fact cold or room temperature air would be preferred but due to the motors and friction warm air it is.

I seem to recall this Al. Well I cant explain how Coreys MB steady state doesnt do same. All motors arent created equal even when they should be!

Corey ... dont you find the snap of the power on/off switches excilirating. They snap with such authority :props:

Because of it,i'll be picking me one up with this AG Memorial Day sale :)

Another outstanding review buddy! Thanks again so much for doing it for us! As you know, based on your opinion of this product I also purchased one. Mine will be here Thursday, and I can't wait to get it. However I must say; after hearing Al's story I am a little anxious about it!

Hey Tad,
because of Corey's reveiw,I also picked up one with AG's Memorial Day sale (15%off + Free Shipping):props:

Great review!! I might have to sell some unused waxes to get some money to buy it. Right now I use my compressor to dry off the cars. Gets a little old dragging both the vacuum and the compressor out every time.

seems like the 15% off deal for Memorial Day "could" be just the ticket.

Corey, if my wife gets angry, I am blaming you ... :bolt:

Just picked up a Master Blaster on the 15% off sale ... Im the MAN Im the MAN Im the MAN

now time to check the garage wiring and/or order a new 20amp circuit to be installed.

Well I guess I am #4 to buy this product based on Corey's review! What the hell am I going to do with all my waffle weaves?

Thanks lou!! I hear you with the air compressor. Thats what I was using... I think Adam mentioned to me to grab a pice from the hardware store to filter the air on the compressor so you don't get moisture coming out.

LOL Jim! I wondered the same thing! Well, if your ever stripping a car or washing someones car that needs protection the towels can be helpful. I know... Luckily for me I never had very many waffle weave towels. I had just purchased 3 new very nice soft ones like 6 weeks before I bought the MB but I sent one to Bill and my nephews got one (last time I let them touch the towels when helping) LOL. So I only have 4 ww to worry about not using :) I haven't used one since I bought the MB but I probably should have yesterday on the 2 that had no protection, as the water just clings so tight to the surface (like was shown on that black panel in the review). Anyway, blowing exclusively on the PT left a few water streaks but I was applying some wax afterwards which removed them.
