The nu finish avi is a joke among a few friends of mine here...I have never used nufinish
That almost sounds like a steal at $92/$101!!I only paid $92 for my tubs
even on Amazon you can get it on prime for 101 all day
^^^ :wow:^^^
We also know that there since there is no such animal as: Banana "banana-oils"...
Why in the World (except for marketing purposes) would Zymol claim that
there are some in Zymol Glasur Wax (and other Zymol waxes as well)?
Just curious.
Bob
Wouldn't know about the examples you posted above...its a steal when you compare them to the overpriced waxes like Fuzion or BlackICE.
I'm curious as to why you say there is no such thing as banana oil. It's true that no one is wringing out greasy ripe bananas and collecting an oil from them,
but banana oil is a real substance.
^^^JMO: A real man-made substance nick-named "banana oil"^^^
It's a solvent whose proper name is Isoamyl Acetate and gets its name from its sweet fragrance.
^^^:iagree:^^^
I get to smell the stuff once a year for respirator training.
^^^So did I...when I was an active participant of the workforce.^^^
I have yet to use Glasur but I heard it smells fantastic and I'm sure banan....I mean Isoamyl Acetate has something to do with it. I actually have a pot coming this week so I'll have more to offer once I get my hands on it.
^^^Hope to hear of your results, Joe.^^^
Somehow, I have the feeling you know all this.rops:

I've really enjoyed your Zymol Glasur's review-thread.I will probably make a second review with the results of it when I get back after I apply it again.
Fuzion and BlackIce shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Glasur imo. (Nothing against Fuzion or BI)
Glasur is the BEST wax in it's price range, period.
Ironically enough, I have! Zymol beat BOTH in terms of durability, and repellancy to airborne particles. No kidding? Do you have proof? Have you ever compared them on a scientific basis?
You should have add that in "your opinion"
In my opinion, all Zymol stuff is overprice and promoted by great marketing people, trained in the mode of P.T. Barnum.
One question for you sir, have you ever tried ANY of the three waxes mentioned? Y

I own waxes from $10 all the way up to SV Crystal Rock. Glasur is a fantastic wax with excellent durability and almost has a hydrophobic properties to it. It does NOT attract dust like most other "oily" waxes do. It reminds me of a coating, but in the disguise of a paste wax.

:dunno:No? I would be less expensive waxes do a wonderful. You do not need to use stuff to know that you are being suckered.
There are things you intuitively know are not worth the money.
Would you buy the Brooklyn Bridge.
Bernie Maddoff sounded great. So great that people did not even look as his statements.
As I said before, it your money. I thought that I would comment.
There a lot of thing out in the world not worth the money being ask for them. People are just too trusting and/or easy to sell.
