I really appreciate the support guys! Like I said I owe a huge thank you to all of you for your kindness and also to all the people that have taught me things and given me the tools. People who have written articles where I learned a trick to make mine better or those who challenged me to add video or improve my pictures, etc. I owe each of your well thought out replys a response and planned to do so but its just a few too many replys for me to get to right now. (My wife is after me too :)) But I read through each one of them and they all meant a lot to me. Thank you so much! I did want to quickly answer any questions.

Thanks Jon, It will be improving some more but I felt like it was presentable after I stopped working on it last night. I'll PM you the product I mention there but after going back and forth (both great products) I lean towards the UIGP. The Ultima repels stains better and has that feel to it that I love. The other product is ever so slightly darker and claims abrasion resistance but I have no way of testing the abrasion resistance.

Thank you Doug, I was thinking about that also and was thinking at the top or bottom I should say something. I started leaning away from this until I read your question here. I probably should add this tag you described to each review but I have to think of an unobtrusive way of doing it. I do currently (and will in the future) announce who I am working with on the blog section of my website on a regular basis. Most immediately I'll be working with Avi of Carpro to review each product in his line and provide support on the forum to help communicate and compile information between CarPro and their customers.

First off congratulations to you on your new job!

I also enjoyed all of your reviews and found them to be honest & thorough and very indepth with not only the writings, but the pictures and video made it like I was there with you trying out each new product.

I looked forward to your reviews and read through each and every one of them.

I have no doubt you will keep up your honest,unbiased attitude which made you so welcomed by so many.

It was your reviews/high praise which made me purchase Ultima Shampoo in which I will add to your review when I get some time with it under my belt.

Congrats. As someone who reads your reviews, I would take it with a lesser grain of salt if you told people if you were being paid to review a certian product.

In the End, money will always talk and alot of people can be bought. ( i am not saying you will be) I think it would deepen how people will look at your reviews, Esp if you say i was a crappy product and the paid me to say this.

What about Ag, I am guessing if you reveiw products the dont sell you will not be posting the reviews here, giving advertisment for a competitor and you new business.

Do not take this the wrong way as txt can be hard to show emotion, these are just some comcerns from a consumer.

That's really great to hear, taking your talents to the next level.
I really enjoy reading your reviews, I even read the ones about products I probably won't ever buy or use just because you make it so interesting. Your attention to detail is incredible. You were the inspiration for me to attempt to write a couple of reviews. They weren't that great but it was fun writing and I thank you for that.
I think your website is awesome! It's very very professional looking, simple but very detailed, easy to navigate and I love the colors of it. With your integrity you should go very far with this en devour. I wish you the very best! and Thank You for all that you have taught me!
 
One, happy to hear you've found yourself in a happy position.

Two, thank you for your amazing reviews. If this new open door of yours slows down your reviews or halts on some of the updates that you have for your already uploaded reviews that's fine man.

Three, I know you have a huge fracking boner/fanboy of Four Star (and associated products like Ultima) line. But you know what? You've never shown biased towards them and not the product you're reviewing. IE your excellent review on WETs, Dodo Juice BTBM etc etc even thought you've told us how much you love UTTG and Ultima Wash. So to my point, you've never disappointed us man.

Again congratulation man and I hope you're going to where you wanna go. I hope I have amazing review skills like you and I hope to play catch up:)

Thank you Jeff! I really appreciate all of that. Im Looking forward to your thoughts on the shampoo! I've actually just purchased a tripod so I'm not stacking buckets anymore LOL. I hope it won't disappoint you if my videos become more stable! :)

Thank you for your insight and thoughts, I definitely won't take it wrong. I appreciate all your comments.

As far as competitors of AG I have never posted a review of a competitor product on AG even though I have reviewed a few. I really respect and appreciate everyone that works at AG and will abide by their rules on their forum. I consider Mike and Meghan to both be friends and even if they were not I wouldn't disrespect Max's forum.

Thank you so much!! Don't worry! I'm not going to let my updates lapse at all. In fact now that I have my website pretty much done I should be getting keeping reviews flowing at my normal pace. The real reason for this thread was to give a full disco sure and you guys know I get long winded and had to give a pretty thorough explanation. LOl. Anyway, good for you! keep up the great work and enjoy yourself.

Yes, it's true I'm love Ultima and the only way I can combat that bias is by being completely open about it. They really do make some incredible products though LOL. The WG ETS is really looking to be equivalent to Ultimas best product for all practical purposes so far. This is the first time UTTg has had competition with a polymer sealant ime.

when i joined the forum i saw your reviews of uttg an bought some. since then i have always looked for your name to see your view of a product,an will continue to do so. Thanks for the informative reviews an will be looking for more. jonathan

I have felt that you are good enough and have more than enough credibility to do this at the level where you are compensated for the time and effort you expend to review a product. I'm happy for you and look forward to seeing your reviews. Bow, wow, wow, yippie yo, yippie yay... Cee Dog is in the house!
 
I think it is fair enough for you to charge a certain amount of money when a company ask you to do the review.
Afterall your review will help promote their products if you say good things about it.
Besides, people should always take online reviews as a reference and make final judgements by themselves.
 
I have to say that based on the quality of your reviews, I'm not surprised someone is willing to pay for your time.

I will continue to trust your reviews as honest, and have made a few purchases based on your opinions.

I am really happy that you are going to be compensated for what you seem to enjoy doing, and am looking forward to seeing your reviews and finding new products to use based on them.

Even while you were (and still are) creating reviews that offer much saught after insights/info on differing product lines, you still managed to find the time and willingness to reply/respond to this and other forums' members concerns. I, as an AGO forum member, was no exception to your generosity. That, I can honestly attest to, was, and always will be appreciated.

You're already pretty famous...So I hope you become filthy Rich$$$$$ :D

You probably couldn't compromise your standards if you wanted. I'd guess too ingrained in your beliefs. Your open, honest, candid communication is why you were sought after in the first place so they wouldn't want you to compromise your standards either. To those that will take you to task, re: the $, and you know that they will. They couldn't give a hoot about a good review anyway. Most are just looking for an excuse to find fault or disagree.
PS: I sure have enjoyed your input. Yes, your reviews have influenced my purchases, and I didn't know the relationship that you had with the manufactures. Keep up the good work. Thank you for doing them .
