Rinseless options.which would you pick and why?

Maybe it's just because the car is silver but my car seems to shine after 114 ... I don't notice things the way you guys do. I haven't been doing it that long

ONRW&W will be the one for me again this winter.
Why? I used it at 0 degree F just to see if I could. I didn't want the fresh salt and sand on my car. With hot water that I could barely stand to keep my hands in, it was a challenge. It took a couple of re-ups but it worked out pretty well. You just have to wash and dry a panel at a time.

I feel the wax polymer layer helped shed the debris easier on consequent
washes. Then again looks and streaking was not a major concern as long as the car didn't have crud all over it. After all it's just a Pontiac.

Forgot to say... I used the GD method for wintertime bliss.

I have never used the D114 but I do have D115. I like the D115 because it can be used as Rinseless or Waterless. For Rinseless I add 1 to 2 oz to 2 gallons of water and it works great as a Rinseless. I also have it diluted 1:4 in a spray bottle for waterless wash. It has a great smell and you will only need one product for waterless and rinseless.

D114 for the obvious reason; no artificial shine or additional additives.

UWW+ because its dilution ratio is GREAT and works extremely well and is versatile. It also contains Polycharger.

BTW.... you can buy Polycharger and add it to anything out there. ;)

I'll stick to 1: D114 and 2: DG (But still have ONR sitting around, and even when using ONR as a clay/Nanoskin lube noticed it streaked from day one.)

Pretty easy though (and a requirement for my OCD-ness) to go over the vehicle after a rinseless with DG or 156. As I've said before, I keep both a "virgin" and a "polycharged" version of both sitting on the shelves. :dblthumb2: All of them are super slick (but I tend to prefer any version of DGAW). :D

Its DG for me, hands down and not even close! First off price, $40.00 for a gallon and when buying directly from DuraGloss, its FIVE DOLLARS for shipping! Next up is the performance, just does a fantastic job, period! Now let's move onto what's infused into it, their own spray wax called Aqua wax, so not only is the car left clean but its got some protection to boot:thumbup:

It can also be made into a great clay lube and quick detailer, what more could you ask for?!

Is this product another victim of, let's say: A polar vortex?

Bob

Bob that is the OTC I've tried. I figured there were better options. I'm leaning to trying Meg's 114 I think, but DG with AW is tempting too

Although I still have some ONR and plenty of UWW+ conc., I have a gal. of D114 on the way.

Almost exactly this. I have a little UWW and quite a bit of ONR left but I'm sure the D114 on its way will supplant both.

I've only used ONRv2 and DP Rinseless.

ONR is ever so slightly slicker, but DP left a slightly better finish and it doesn't turn my wash media black. I also find that drying the car after DP is easier. I give the edge to DP.

Are you saying you need to use 12oz of D115 in a 2 gallon bucket to make a Rinseless Wash solution?

I don't know what I'm saying. Here's Mike Stoops saying take four gallons of water and pour in the whole gallon of D115, but if the car isn't that dirty, you only need to use half a gallon of D115: Mid-Year Introduction - D115 Rinse Free Express Wash & Wax . I thought the 20:1 dilution (what you mentioned above) was the rinseless dilution but looking back that seems to be a waterless dilution for not-so-dirty cars, but they say the "wax" will be diluted if you do that.

If you are good using this at a "normal" rinseless dilution then that is good info, because I could never understand how you were supposed to use D115 it looked crazy expensive any way you used it. :dunno:

Am I readng this correctly? Mike Stoops is recommending one whole gallon of Meguiars D115 Express Wash to 4 gallons of water to do a Rinseless Wash? If you were using the two bucket system with a sponge and only wanted to clean one car, it would cost nearly $60 to do a Rinseless Wash. This seems like a lot of product for in 4 gallons of water to do a Rinseless Wash. I usually use two ounces in two gallons of water and it seems to work fine. Anyone else want to comment on these dilution ratios that have used D115?

If Mike Stoops dilution ratios are correct and you have to mix a whole gallon of D115 with 4 gallons of water, Meguiars D115 does not seem to be a very good value for Rinseless Wash. It would be much better to go with D114 or ONR as a Rinseless and use the D115 for waterless.
