Do we know who makes anyone's microfiber towels? AFAIK they are all made at faceless Korean and Chinese companies.Any chance we know who makes their PFM towels?

True, but I thought if I asked, it might motivate you with your sleuth skills. Got to find these magic microfiber makers! Just something different (in a good way) with the PFMs.Do we know who makes anyone's microfiber towels? AFAIK they are all made at faceless Korean and Chinese companies.
I believe that's what it is.. a green colored USS sponge, just $3 more for the green dye instead of blackI like the color for seeing dirt, but looks a lot like the USS in a different color.
I was at their open house in Indianapolis last year where they do their blending and shipping, and the rep told me they don't sell chemicals that they don't blend. That's why they were late to the ceramic party.I doubt it. Griots pride them selves on manufacturing all their own chemicals. With being able to manufacture there own chemicals and spreading making 2 current and one previous it’s probably not ONR. A copy? Possibly.

Alright, to quote Otter, this obviously requires a really futile, and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part--and I'm just the guy to do it!I was at their open house in Indianapolis last year where they do their blending and shipping, and the rep told me they don't sell chemicals that they don't blend. That green sponge you guys have been waiting for is released

Hold on, didn't you guys see the video?? This sponge has meticulously crafted slits, that are specifically at the Goldilocks width and depth, not too big, not to small, not too shallow, not too deep...JUST RIGHT.I believe that's what it is.. a green colored USS sponge, just $3 more for the green dye instead of black
Does Microfiber Madness make their own stuff? It seems to me that some of the blurb at TRC or Griot's or something talks about Korean made fabric on German machines...isn't MF Madness German?True, but I thought if I asked, it might motivate you with your sleuth skills. To be fair though, I've seen some of the DIY towels at wholesale websites. Pretty sure I bought the DIY All Purpose Interior towels wholesale ahead of a road trip before DIY started selling products. Got to be just the same few sources for MFs. Oh well, rabbit hole nobody probably needs to go down.
You might as well also add their Ceramic Rinseless wash and the Rinseless Wash and Wax to really see how they stack up. This way we can really see where things stand lol.I'll take one for the team and see if the new Griot's wash tastes the same as ONR.
I used to use Microfiber Madness Dry Me Crazy Jr towels back when twist loop towels such as the PFMs weren’t a thing yet. Those Dry Me Crazy towels are so great though - so thick and premium feeling. Haven’t tried the other stuff from them but I’m sure it’ll be great. I also like Carpro BOA towels - still have quite a few of them.Does Microfiber Madness make their own stuff? As far as the Chinese, they have 5 times as many people as we do, so there are probably a lot more companies than we think, but I'm sure there are a handful of major manufacturer's that are responsible for most of the MF's we see here. Have to keep in mind that the janitorial and home market is probably much bigger than the detailing market...of course we detailers tend to buy a lot of towels per capita...at least I do.
They are fairly open about their story and that they source... just sounds like they had high standards to earn that coveted "preferred supplier" tag with them.Does Microfiber Madness make their own stuff? Maybe it's because they were established in Pissen, or Sack. Could be to avoid confusion, there's a town called Texas as well. They are fairly open about their story and that they source... just sounds like they had high standards to earn that coveted "preferred supplier" tag with them.
They prefer though you focus on the "small village in Germany" (why not give me a name though?!). I'm too lazy to go beyond this About Us
About us
Fairy-tales often begin with: “A long long time ago in a land far away…” Our story isn’t a fairy-tale, but sometimes it feels a little bit like this! Microfiber Madness was established in the year 2010 in a very small village in Germany. At that time, we had been in the car care business for...www.microfibermadness.de

Not saying they are not putting out good products however make no mistake. Just like everyone else their number 1 concern is product sales. Without getting into details I have seen Armour representatives make comments that would have one use more of their products where as far as I'm concerned more product use would not be needed or very beneficial.I think Armour is a decent company and their products have been good. I also like they are more of a detail company than a social media company like some of the other ones.
Absolutely, they are all pushing more products but relatively speaking, I am seeing less of a social media influencer vibe from Armour. They have some online presence but way less than some of their peers (I think you guys know which ones those are). In this day and age, I guess to stay relevant they have to "keep up" and bring out new things and even redundant things. But compared to some of the other newer brands, it's not quite as overt. Not saying they are not putting out good products however make no mistake. Not blaming them for doing so as sales of one's products is what it's about.
Doing a public service should make you feel better about itAlright, Griot's Rinseless, check, Amazon Prime, free shipping!
Green sponge, check, Clean Garage, $8.95 shipping, ouch
Red sponge, check, had to add Armour tire cleaner and a couple towels to get free shipping.
Have I mentioned you guys are a bad influence on me?
Perhaps that's because Bradley is still running a detail shop as opposed to running his brand full time.Absolutely, they are all pushing more products but relatively speaking, I am seeing less of a social media influencer vibe from Armour. I don't think you are reading too much into it at all. I think Sheepstar probably has a lot to say about this. Also, have you guys noticed that the detailing brands started by social media influencers tend to get better reviews by Youtube channels than brands who are not quite as social media heavy? Seems a little too convenient for this to happen - maybe I am reading too much into it.
Well, if nothing else, maybe it will make me feel "sponge-worthy", LOLDoing a public service should make you feel better about it![]()
