Rinseless Washes - 2022

I have the old stock and to me if was fair to middling. Much preferred my old ONR. Trying DIY2 & Pan’s now and they are both better.

The Guz called it "very ONR-ish". I have a bottle of it sitting right here but I haven't used it yet. The Guz did gush over ONR v.6 that was released at TRCMA, so maybe the Griot's is not "very ONR-ish" anymore, since he now likes ONR again.

There are many different versions of ONR. But ONR V6 is still better than Griot's. Griot's did a good copy to make their version of an ONR clone.

I could have easily missed it but I rarely remember people even talking about it until it was discontinued and then the lamenting began

I know Klasse said the old stuff was good and after it went away people were hopeful that it was coming back with a bang

I will have to watch the video and see what is said

I am curious in case I see a bottle on the shelf at one of the places that stock a bit of the Griot's line

Yeah I always liked the old, clear, bright blue Griot's Garage Rinseless Wash, the new stuff is good too, more concentrated too

If someone is looking to try something new that's a pure cleaner and might be available OTC by now, you can't go wrong with the new Griot's Garage RW, it's the base of my current FrankenDetailer as well

Used the remainder of the Pan’s on a pretty dirty car (in-laws). First time I wasn’t impressed in the performance. However, it was three washes in, two weeks old, and I was too lazy to prespray this evening.

Used DIY v2 yesterday. Fresh to fresh, I think Pan’s is better than it (marginally). As I mentioned in the what did I do today, I still haven’t thought they are vastly superior to the (v1 v2) ONR I’ve been using for the last decade and a half.

I still like ONR for a light cleanup and all the other uses like clay lube, etc

Haven’t tried V-6 yet but I will

If it is really dirty I still like N-914 for pure cleaning power

I’ve got Hero and Iconic to try yet and I have Feynlab in a certain online basket. I’ve heard it’s a great pure cleaner. ONR is like a good old friend or comfortable worn in pair of shoes.

I was absolutely unimpressed by Hero for the dirt I deal with

I still have some and I’ll use it eventually I guess

I loved Feynlab V1 and I tried to buy V3 the other day direct from Feynlab

$19 on sale and $25 shipping

Nope

Amazon is out of stock so I’m on hold for that

I honestly don’t need another rinseless but when has that ever stopped any of us

Ive used hero once. Meh nothing special, its got slickness to it but thats it.

I like onr but it separates once mixed with water. I like to keep bottle in car for emergency bird bomb cleanups. So i just stick to n-914 mixed.

Used feynlab v1 again not long ago and forgot how good of a pure cleanet it is. Once i purge my shelf of things i dont use im going to get and try v3.

I should give hero away. I dont clean vehicles every week like ui used too, more like almost every 3 weeks, so it will take me forever to go through and use stuff without giving away

Feynlab v3 RW and Carbon Collective RW are hands down THEE best pure cleaning RW's out there. If you've got a coated car, use it often if need be, uncoated cars, well, it "could" weaken or strip them, especially wax.

I always have a couple of bottles of ONR mixed up at 1:128 for wipedowns around the house and I have never seen that.
I've got some that was originally mixed at QD dilution 5 years ago, topped up maybe once a year, so the dilution would be out now, it's only mixed with distilled water, I've never seen any clumps in mine. I mainly use it for cleaning the rubber mats now, and occasionally wheels that aren't very dirty.

In what way? Slickness, cleaning, drying, scent?

I guess Feynlab ended their relationship with Amazon, the only things Amazon has are 3 products in 5L jugs, which I presume are slower sellers.

Things are not much better in the lower 48 ordering direct from Feynlab, I put a 250ml bottle of the hybrid ceramic detailer in the cart for $12.90, FedEx Ground, $14.33. Oh wait, they have USPS for $8.52, that's not so bad, but a lot worse than when they had the 500ml bottle at Amazon for $20 with free Prime shipping. Oh well, you snooze, you lose.

Slickness and cleaning iirc. Still have a bit out in the shop with my old convertible. I’ll use it soon and see if my memory is correct.
