Last week Saturday I got a sms from Bevin ( aka Bevo ) asking me to do a friends car the following day ( Sunday ). We had a brief chat , talked price and booked the car. The car in Question was Ronald's Scirocco :hi: Sunday morning , Ronald contacted me as he had difficulties getting the car to me. During the week we rescheduled our appointment to yesterday. I got up at around 7am to get everything ready to leave. Arrived at around 8h45 and work immediately started. When I arrived the car was in a state. The car was dirty , but also full off bird droppings :bang: The car gets parked under a tree  but funnily enough contamination wasn't TOO bad at all.

I started off by taking "before" pictures

After a 2 bucket method wash with Sonax Shampoo and drying the car I got to see the true condition of the paint.
Damage caused by bird dropping

Luckilly this was the only damage noted from all the droppings.

Time for IronX :troll:

As you can see , not bad at all. Boy oh Boy did Ronald and his friend enjoy the smell of IronX early in the morning   After rinsing off the IronX i dried the car again and also cleaned the engine bay. After that it was time to bring out the polisher. Did my test spots and settled on Menz PF2500 on yellow cutting pads. The front fenders appeared yellow-ish to the rest off the car so I also hit the 2 fenders with SF4000 on green polishing pads. Off course after the polishing I took out the Menz PL and hit the whole car once over. The paint is as smooth as a baby's bottom after the PL.

The finnish was not 100% swirl free but it does look ALOT better. With all the smoothing of badges on the car and respraying the pannels there had been worked on , I noticed that the paint on the edges was very thin. Edges of which the Roc has ALOT on its body !!

Finally , some after Pics

I had alot of fun working on this car and I must say , Ronald , you sir , have 1 amazing looking Roc :hurray:

One hot car, made even hotter....

Well done bud.... came out looking really good:dblthumb2:

Came out really good! Kinda reminds me of a Panamera and a mix of Audi R8.

Thanx guys. This car is very tastefully modded and I am glad the owner gave me an opportunity to enhance the look even more.

This is my 2nd awsome looking Scirocco I got to detail now.

The Razor Wire on your fence always makes me pause and think how good we have it where I live.

We only use barbed wire to keep the cattle and chicken separate here in Texas.

Great work, nice to read the walkthrough and the pictures as well.

Thank you very much for sharing.

Very nice work on that Scirocco! Came out great!

A blue Scirocco R passed me up on the Autobahn yesterday! (I wasnt in my BMW or I would have chased) lol

LoLz and would you believe me when I say that the Razor wire like that doesn't even scare burglars A LITTLE ?? We are so used to it , we don't really notice it anymore

x2

I'd even sell my jetta to get one of these, I want one so so bad

Tbh I am no fan of a Scirocco. I do not like the looks. But afyer spending few hours I noticed all the curves on the body and it is really something to sit and admire. The tastefull mods done on the one also made me fall in love just a tiny wee bit

Thank you. I have always felt that my writeups needed more attention to detail , but this surely makes me feel alot better :dblthumb2:

What BM have you got ?? I must admit a Roc R aint no slouch. Here in SA they make 188kw with the k04 turbo and responds VERY well to small mods like intake , dp , turbo inlet and turbo outlet pipes , maybe some wmi and a forge twin cooler.

This one had all the bells and whistles too. Owner told me it has the K04 convertion done ( I saw the DV Relocate ) , DP , ITG Intake. That's the mods noted , not too sure how many others he has but I am sure it has 1 heck of a list if I look at the visual mods on the car.

The T5 grille mod , smoothed bonnet and bootlid is what sets this one apart from the crowd for me.

Love the roofline of the Scirocco!!!

I have an 07 335i sedan with n54 engine. Factory twin turbo. My only performance mod is a catless full exhaust system. She has plenty of power but who could say no to more power?

I know those 2.0 liters respond very well to parts. In fact when I was here in Germany last time a coworker had a MK4 GTI with a full APR stage 3 setup on it with coilovers and O.Z. Ultra light weights on it. That little car was insanely fast! Not mention having an unlimted Autobahn to play on is nice as well.

Man i love that car! We had one here in Texas for the 1 mile race a few years ago.

The 2.0T`s do make power easily. I`m running K04 setup with water/meth and making 350. I`m bolting on a GT30 and rods this fall, easy 450hp.
