As all of you know we lost a great man this weekend. Ron is widely known for his amazing food photos but for us we know him as the guy that always wanted to help out.
Every Detail Fest he was front and center to help run the judging and keep us on our toes. Ron was truly a great guy but was known around here as a Great Car Guy!
So let's dedicate this thread to Ron and your favorite photos of him, I will share it with the family.

I’m glad to have had the opportunity to have met him at DF 2018. Rest In Paradise Ron.

I wasn’t able to get a pic with Ron due to others calling for him while I was taking the picture of him with my boy Aaryn, but nonetheless it was still a pleasure getting to meet him at DF.

I didn't know Ron very well. Our online and offline paths simply didn't cross. I recognize his forum name and I know over the years he's been very active on both Autopia.org and AutogeekOnline.net.

Last year, upon hearing of Ron's battle with cancer, we put together a team of detailers to travel to Ron's home to do a BLACKFIRE Show Car Makeover to his Corvette Z06 and daily driver Dodge Durango R/T. I'm sad to say, all of the pictures have gone missing?

Here's the thread,

Autogeek Show Car Makeover in Nokomis, Fl

Here's the only pictures I have from this roadshow makeover...

This was Ron's new Corvette - he always kept it show-ready!

Even though is Durango was his daily driver, he also kept it show-ready!

Rest in Peace Ron....

I have no pics, as I never met Ron in person. (Regrettably).

But this is a great thread for a great man that was always so kind and welcoming to me as a newbie.

And his sense of humor was top notch. :)

I come over to Sarasota about three times a year and every time I come over I try to have lunch with Ron. Every time we had lunch, he always gave me two or three new detailing products, full bottles! We talk so much about what goes on here and Autopia, and we both owned c7’s so we were together on the Corvette Forum. Amazing intelligence, amazing detail knowledge… He will be missed…

I have never met Ron in person, but have spoken many times. He always provided great advice, not for my wallet, but definitely great for my car's paint lol. He was always positive and willing to help anyone in need. An amazing man and member of this forum, he will be truly missed! Rest in peace my friend!

I’m honored to have had some back and forth with him in the forums. He responded to me with open arms and I will always cherish my Polish Angel products as I always remember him when I see them. Although I’m fairly new to the forums, I’ll remember him as a very kind, knowledgeable guy with the funniest sense of humor.

I’m sure he’s being rewarded and treated well for his kindness, as we type.
