Rubber Floot mat Maitenance

Looking for suggestion for a product to maintain new look on rubber floor mats.

Dont like the way the black mats...kinda look dull and greyish black after a while. Also dont want them slick.

Saw weather Tec makes one.
 
I use the WeatherTech protectant. Their cleaner is nothing special but the protectant works well.

DP has a cleaner/protectant.
McKee's has a floor mat/cargo liner rejuvinator.

I've used Meguiar's Hyper Dressing diluted 50/50 on our rubber floor mats and it looked ok. Honestly, I don't care if the rubber mats look a little greyish. As long as their CLEAN and free from dirt and debris thats all that matters to me.

I made the mistake of using DG 253 on my weather techs. Looked great...but OMG....this made the mats so slippery and potential dangerous until the 253 wore off. Not just clean with APC.

I have heard that some wipe off their mats after a drying period with a microfiber towel, which removes most of the slipperiness but I admit I haven’t tried DG 253 on mats due to other comments like yours.
 
I used weatherTech’s, Mckee’s and Chem guys rubber matt products.

Adam’s Graphene spray coating was best product I used.

Had rubber factory genuine VW floor mats for over 4 year's
Just used simple green to clean still look good.
 
Firstly, don't bother wasting money on the Chemical Guys Mat Renew, it's garbage. While it foams up nicely, it doesn't actually do any cleaning or enhancing like the label says it does.





I have been using the McKee's version of late, which seems much better. This Subaru cargo mat I topped with a some heavily diluted Carpro Perl, enough to bring some richness back without making the surface slippery.







I have also been using Koch Chemie GUF, a product specifically designed for rubber mats and doesn't make them slippery.



 
After a good cleaning, too get back the original look....

Adams " In & out" trim spray works great....problem is, you need 1/2 a can to get the job done right
Or
Griots "Trim & Detail" spray....basically the same product

I love 253, but this was my experience as well the one time I used it on floor mats.

I had the WeatherTechs in my wife's car looking great...all clean and nicely dressed. The next day I get a call at work and she's complaining about her feet sliding all over the place. Fortunately, the car is heavily used and it only took a day or two to wear down and grip returned.

Yea, that could be an issue! I never used #253 on mt floor liners. The BF leaves some protection behind. Not slippery.
 
Blackfire stuff works good, cleans and protects all in one….
 
I recently tried the McKee’s Mat Rejuvenator and was surprised how well it cleaned so I’m liking it so far. But CoatingsAreCrack got me onto Adam’s Advanced Graphene Spray for the mats and I like that so far. If it wasn’t so expensive, I’d treat it like Frank’s RedHot sauce and put that #### (Adam’s) on everything.
