Rupes 21 -vs- Rupes 21 Mark II

15's have been shipping, but they're a little behind the 21's. The decision was made to knock out the 21's first as there was more demand around them, so 15's started production a little behind the 21's. Trust me when I say the our team in Milan has been haulin' butt to get tools produced, but the demand has been crazy, even beyond what we had anticipated!

We should be completely caught up with our distributors demand in the next week or 2. We sincerely thank you all for your patience and of course your enthusiasm for the new tools. We promise they will be worth the wait :)

Thnx for a strait answer.

Just got confirmation from a source I really trust; the Mark II 21 with the washer mod had noticeably more balls than the LHR21 with the washer mod. Fair comparison. So Rupes, indeed, did make a more powerful motor with the Mark II's.

So you saying the MKII can be washer mod too?

Says still on back order. When are they going to be available?

Same here. Says it will show up in a week coming out west.

Well I just ordered my 21. I can't wait. all I need now is a 5 inch backing plate

Is it the same type of washer that is used in the MK I machines?

It appeared to be the same but I didn't compare it to the one in my LHR21. The backing plate mount on the MKII is different though....larger in size so your older plates won't mount up.

Don't confuse wattage for a measure of performance... wattage on power tools is simply a rating to quantify the capacity for consumption.

Exactly, its analogous to using MPG to compare the acceleration of vehicles.

Ordered a 21 Mark II and got a Mark I instead. Not happy. Returning and need to order a Mark II for a job this week. Anyone have any in stock? Motivated buyer. Want the 6" & 5" plates.
