Is there any remedy for scratched in tail light lenses? Never owned a car that is so bad, wish the previous owner did trash the exterior!

My headlights are beautiful which makes me wonder how the guy (or girl) trashed them.
Ive polished paint before with great results but never polished plastic. any tips or good products to use

I would try some Megs 105, on a 3" MF cutting pad. Follow up with 205 on any finishing pad.
If 105 doesn't work, try some 3000 grit, then 105.

^ yeah what he said! im working on my tails right now, mine are in way worse shape with one having deep scratches/paint transfer into the scratches, luckily my ingenuity thought of a way to fill the scratches(finger nail can catch them ) and sanded lense down, just need to polish. good luck with yours!
