Sealed, Waxed and now what do I do?

I think someone hinted at it before, but get a new spray nozzle for the fk425. I really, really dislike the original one.

You are being kind, that sprayer is a POS and good for the trash can only. I tried to use it for an APC (all purpose cleaner) and it wasn't worth the time to screw it on the bottle.

As far as pics, waiting for my personalized plate then iIwill go to town and post, thanks for all the info
You really don't want you plate all over the internet anyway do you? And don't forget to have that Beautiful Lady do a little Modeling in the pictures....The "accessories" are a very important part.

Be very careful QDing after driving much. Be sure you don't have dirt, bugs, bird bombs, etc. I only QD very light dust or finger prints. Or as a drying aid...If at all questionable it is much safer to pull out the hose and buckets.

I completely agree. :dblthumb2:

Another option is ONR. Just be smart with your method! If it's "dirty" its time for a regular wash with the hose.

My wife and I just got home from my nieces birthday. Brought Sky with us and hit a little patch of rain and some wet road on the way back. I backed off quick so the cars in front of me wouldn't kick grime all over me. We were on the highway and it was beading so well that the drops rolled right off without the horizontals getting wet. Unfortunately I got some little dots along the sides of my beauty from my wheels kicking it up. Wasn't planning on washing till next weekend and I could probably use ONR for this case but I'm going to go ahead and pull out the hose in the early am and give her a proper bath.

LOL, so I'm not the only one who thought the stock FK sprayer was junk. I've been using the 500ml Kwazar sprayers for QD and spray sax. They are a bit pricey but make a nice fine mist and the double action keeps the mist going.

I used to QD to remove light dust then I realized it was marring the crap out of my paint. I then spent a entire weekend fixing this amateur mistake, lesson learned. I now will only QD after a wash when the surface is free of particles.

On my daily drivers I ONR wash and QD with FK425 every week, foam and wash with 2 bucket method once a month then follow with Optimum Car Wax.

Most importantly go out and drive that awesome vette!

Guys, thanks again for all the info......NEW QUESTION, drove the vette today but ended up raining on me at the end of the day. Left it outside the garage until it was done raining. Now I have a vette full of rain beads all over it, what is my next move prior to pulling it into the garage? (it is evening so washing is not an option, will do so in the morning) thanks Scott

Don't wipe dry...Weed blower works great to get the water off and stop spotting.

Great advice Tad! But there are conditions in between where a Waterless Wash can be used and followed up by a spray wax or QD.. Personally, nowadays I use Waterless always before I use QD or spray waax or sealant.

ok, thanks...so if i hose off then wipe dry (sorry, did not want to use the blower this late)....wash in the morning then use my spray wax, is this a good method?
