I post this question here because we're all a bit OCD on the AGO. We wouldn't be here if we weren't. We love our cars, we love polshing, waxing, detailing, etc, and that's why we're here.
We're selling the house in the spring. We want to welcome all realtors and their potential buyers (and kids).
With that, we have our garage queen (which is in show-car competition ready condition). The car doesn't see inclement weather and is garaged mostly 10 months out of the year...
We also have have a small music studio, some boutique guitar amps and guitars etc, which I can put in storage, but it's the garage queen that can't easily be tossed in storage.
I've been googling on-line and have been reading some real horror stories... kids just going willy nilly unsupervised in peoples homes... All it takes is one accident.
We all know a thousand "I'm sorry's" doesn't undo a gash/scratch in a competition ready vehicle, or broken Les Paul Custom.
So what do you guys do with your valuable assets (i.e. family treasures, musical equipment, guitars/drums, detailing equipment and gear, etc) and in my case the garage queen during the showings and open houses? Like I said, all realtors, families and children are welcome... excluding anyone will not be good for sales.
