I don't get it: Why are the brushes better than a wheel woolie, boars hair brush, or autofiber wheel brush?
- I can see preferring them over microfiber towels because reach, if your wheel isn't off.
I get the clay, but wasn't everyone saying synthetic clay is so much better than clay when those were the new thing? Now we're back to clay bars?
Theres a lot of things I don't get which are successful though
:dunno:
Not sure what you mean regarding the brush, in this case Carpro are adding a new product to their lineup, selecting a microfiber material rather than nylon bristles (EZ-Detail) or "wool", making them better suited to scratch prone finishes. Personally, I find Wheel Woolies lose their softness in short order, but I have microfiber versions that are still as soft as the day I got them. And as you allude to, a brush like this reaches right into the barrel of the wheel.
For the clay, there is still a place for a traditional clay bar. While I favor synthetic clay towel/sponge/mitts, they are not as effective on heavily contaminated surfaces, be that paint or wheels.
