Wondering what life people are getting or expect from their sheepskin washmitt? Sadly, my Autogeek Sheepskin mitt has gone to wasmitt heaven seemingly prematurely. Was bought late October 07 and used only 5 times on my own car with Poorboys Super Slick & Suds Shampoo.
Reason I'm disappointed is this one was more expensive than others and I was expecting about 12 months out of it following the care instructions, rinse in clean bucket of water, squeeze and air dry on the line.
The pictures are the end result of my last wash a few days ago, it disintegrated in my hands whilst washing, as you can see the wool is 100% ok, the skin has just rotted.
Should I be asking for a replacement? What have I done wrong if anything? I love washing the car with this mitt, but I can't imagine needing to replace it after every couple of washes if this is the norm. They are not cheap.
