We take her out just about every hour and she still finds time to drop loads or let the river flow. I pin her on her back with my strong hand holding her firmly and gently as not to hurt her or make her feel she is in trouble. She submits on her back fairly easily. She has Nylabones but still prefers shoes and boots, she was chewing on my dresser but some Apple Bitter stoped that (doesn't work on shoes though). I've been spending a lot of time on pitbullforum 'dot' com and read read read they have some very good info on food, training, and do's and don'ts. Surfer check out collarmania.com they have some awesome collars both leather and nylon.Al-53 said:Wytang when my 2 pitts where pups..I took them out every hour...I would say ..go Pee and they would go to the door...I would walk them and when 1 did Pee i would say good boy you go Pee ..pet him and give a treat...same with going poop...now they are 2 years old and when I take them out and say poop..they squat and poop...or Pee...they are very smart dogs..do not under estimate them...also play with thier feet alot so you can cut thier nails...
As they get older they will try to control you..thats why they are called bully dogs....show her you are the pack leader....I would pin my dogs till they would submit..now we have a understanding who is boss....
They are not your average dog...they have strong instincts..most Intelligent dogs I ever owned...and most agile..my dogs can run and jump over the bed of my truck like it was nothing..
they can be chewers also...I do not give my dogs rawhide or any of the green dental chews..it can choke them..I give them plain Marrow bones from the market...and a Nylabone...
Your pup is very good looking....has great face features...and colors...mine is a blue nose and one is a red nose...both are over 75 pounds now..and eat like a horse..
have fun with your new kid and enjoy and love it ...
