Here is my favorite detail so far, sorry Derek :) A new Shelby GT500! When we started this the car had swirls, holograms, and minor scratches. We decided not to do a show car finish on it, but instead to do a freshening of the paint. I used Chemical Guys V36 on an Orange pad for this one. The results are amazing. I will update this post tomorrow with the final photos since the sun went down after I finished. Enjoy!

Now for the good stuff, note that this is not the final product, this is only after the polishing step. I will update tomorrow.















Tomorrow we will get finished photos of Chemical Guys Black wax on top of that amazing Shelby.
 
Looks nice! It was pretty messed up from the get go. Good job!
 
Thank you, I will be taking some after waxing and exterior detail pictures today. These were only after polishing. I needed to post something up for now, I was too excited to detail my first Shelby!
 
Such a fine Shelby, and you really put life back into that muscle car great job
 
Oh man, did the final pics come out great! I am downloading them tonight and posting either tonight or tomorrow.

I'm not a strip fan myself, but I agree 100% that this is a mean car! I think it sounds meaner than it looks though. Shelby did a great job with this model of the GT 500.
 
Nice reflection shots. It does look kind of weird without the stripes; at first glance I might mistake for a regular GT.
 
What a beautiful and meticulous detailing! The GT 500 what a beautiful beast!! Black is the only way to go!! Again, incredible detailing.

Thank you, it was my first black car so I was a bit nervous for the outcome, the Ford paint is just super easy to work with I guess.

I apprecite the kind words, especially from a detailer of your caliber! I'm just starting out with the business, this is my first year in the biz but I have learned a great deal from you and the other great detailers on AG so Thank you for all the knowledge :thankyousign:
