Did some preliminary searches but up empty for how to deal with this so here it is. My back (tinted and heated) window on my black XC-90 was smashed out sometime last night. The bag that they probably thought was a laptop bag was just 'fragrant' gym clothes (small victory). My wife generously handled the repair process and by 11am this morning it was replaced. On to my questions? Given my paint is very soft I am thinking of dousing it with heavy amounts of water followed up with probably a heavily concentrated Waterless Wash or Rinseless Wash. Then rinse and dry.
Secondly it was raining last night and so the back compartment is soaking wet. I was thinking of taking my MF and laying them down with some small weight to absorb the water. I don't have a wet vac so need to go manual on this one.
Are there any other suggested courses of action? I assume I will say good bye to all MF I use for the process. Thanks!
