Well, I'm not quite sure what to say about this detail... when I opened the doors I was speechless. And the funny this is, it's only got 19,000 mi. on it! The lady also has an Escalade that she said has cob-webs from leaving her windows open. She's got 4 boys and they are, as you can see from the pics... not very tighty. I was blessed in the fact that there wasn't alot of "stuff" to work around... it was all open space, ony one back seat and two capt. chairs. The toughest part was reaching the top.... it's high. Well onto the detail!!

Exterior:
Rinse, followed by spraying APC all over the whold car
Foamed D2G special soap
Ulti-mitt, HH brush and Pinnalce Safe Scrub via GG bucket
Wheels got P21s gel, which didn't do much in the way of cleaning on these wheels
Rinse/ dry couple guzzlers

XMT360 via Orange CCS pad and UDM sp. 5
buff mf/ LS Spray Wax
Clean up RL QD via MF
Wheels polished RL aluminum polish, Mothers Mini PB and drill
buff, mf then wiped down with RL QD
Tires 75/25 mix RL ext. dressing and AA tire gel
Windows Hope glass cleaner via WW

LOL... thanks that makes me feel like my efforts were well worth while:D

wow...what is "RL". I could not find the cheat sheet since the forum redo.

Nice cleanup D2G. What's wrong with people????? Sorry to say this but it will probably look like that again within a week.

That may have just set the new record for bad. Good job for hanging in there. Great job on the turn around.

I, sir, bow down to you!

That deserves the "Turn around of the Year" award........hands down!
The paint, the interior, the LEATHER........awesome work!!!

Thanks for this inspiring post!

oooh man I love detailing vehicles in that rough shape, for two reasons. One, it makes the detail so drastic that it's very rewarding and second, the customer is absolutely blown away by the work you do. I'm sure that's exactly what you got Dust. You did a great job bringing that vehicle back to life, interior, exterior look great.

Well done, thank you for sharing.

It takes a certain courage to face a job of that magnatude. You sir, have that courage. Outstanding work.

Looks like theres still some swirls.

Very nice and consistent work!

I am sure the owner was blown away. You can really tell when an owner has just given up and is at the point of no return with the vehicle.... You stepped in!

I agree with Nica, those are the best ones to work on because it's a great transformation. Kinda like a new ride you have to have skills to impress the customer and make a real difference!

How much did you charge for such a job... 1million? I would! You did an excellent job.
