lol yes, ask your nephew what "k", "ok" or "okay" mean. but please - ask him via email or on an internet forum; places where you apparently have your most meaningful communications on absolute minutiae.

I applaud you for your persistence. 15 years ago, I would too, I'd bring out the technical books and such. These days, I find it better to be more tolerant, and more care-free, especially on a forum.

I try not to annoy, and I try not to be easily annoyed. "Try" being the operative term. :)

of course. i am the same way. but that's not what makes some people happy.

aggressive, abrasive people want others to be the same. and when you walk the other way, they get even more upset. but at least it's only one person acting stupid in that scenario instead of two :)

I can understand that "action" in some situations but not in this case. I don't believe you were "aggressive or abrasive." Statements were put forth and you asked for factual clarification. I have found this discussion enlightening. :xyxthumbs:

That would be nice or at the very least agree to disagree at times. This is not directed at you Sicoupe but the person calling foul here should remember other postings on this particular product. When that company changed things and questions were asked, well lets just say it's interesting what is now "aggressive and abrasive." That also applies to the products forum, interesting indeed.
Being Thanksgiving is but a few days away, may you ALL have a wonderful holiday for those who celebrate!:dblthumb2:

i told the dude i'm not interesting in talking to Dr. G about his questions when he has a direct line of communication to Dr. G. via email (where he was acting the same way to Dr. G that he was toward me.) he didn't like my lack of care to do his work, so he got upset. you can easily re-read the posts and see that.

then i told him an observation about my wasted tube of 2.0. Chad chimed in calling me out on it, i responded to that with further detail and again, the other guy got upset about my answer as if it was something it wasn't. he wanted it to be something that it was never meant to be and i illustrated that from the start.

i don't have time to deal with that stuff here, man. i spent over a decade as staff on one of the biggest, troll-filled automotive sites on the web. i want a hassle free experience here. if i clear the decks and say i do not care enough to do someone else's work for them and answer their questions (not mine), that means back off. if you don't back off, you get blocked. that's why the function is available with vB (the platform this forum and others like it use).

now that i've gone above and beyond to explain myself, i hope everyone is happy with the semantics i've used. if not, don't respond because, just like that guy's line of questioning - i do not care.

MOVE ON.

I didn't know you were gone; and, after all:
it appears to have just been a short-lived vacation.

Then again (and if I'm not mistaken):
It was back in 2006 that my doctor said I'd be immune to any further head trauma.
