SON1C Wax Carnaubavore Now Available at Autogeek!

Followed this one since it started. Congrats Drew, well done! Reached my spending limit this month but had to get one! Nice to see a fellow forumer's success.

Way to go Drew. Excellent! I have it in my cart now.

Best,
Larry

Mine shipped today!!!!!Im the MAN SO delivery on Thursday!!!:buffing: can't wait to smell it, then start using it! i'm thinkin about breaking some up into samples to either offer in trade, or paying it forward, just not sure what amount would be enough to do a car, and what to put it in. Sally's beauty chain has some really small containers that would work perfectly, i'll have to revisit them and have a better look. Anyway, can't wait to get the wax.:hungry:

Congratulations and great work. Your passion is to be admired and commended. It's ironic, I was visiting the thread last night and your website and thought "how cool would it be if AG sold your product" and shazaam! Hats off to you, AG, Max and the entire AG crew for supporting the entrepeneurial spirit!!!
Thank you for the kind words :D
When can we expect the others? And could you just package them in a duo/trio pack? I just hate multiple orders lol.
I would expect the synthetic in the spring and the second natural wax late winter, so it'll definitely be some time!
So I placed my order. Lol my ADHD works in odd ways. Release the others soon! Gotta support!
haha awesome! Looking forward to your thoughts on it!
Drew, can u make me a wax with Cannabis oils? LOL
NO REALLY!!!
lol that is not my realm sir
very cool indeed ....
Perhaps we'll see it on the corvette scott? ;)
Awesome! A product of AGO and a product of VA! I'll be looking foward to trying your new baby Drew. Congratulations!
Thanks for the support and looking forward to your results!
Congratulations, Drew! If you recall my first post on your proto-wax thread, I commented that this is something that everyone dreams about doing, but no one really has the courage and dedication to go through with it. You persevered through countless batches and formulations, to develop the Carnaubavore!

The fact that you are now able to sell your creation is a testament to your formula and ingenuity! I hope that you see that no matter what happens from here on, you have been able to start with raw materials and a rough plan, and transform it into a product that is sold by a major distributor and retailer. That in and of itself is a huge accomplishment and your head should be held high, not to mention you're in a pretty great spot on the wax page on the Autogeek website!

Great job, again! Can't wait for your next creation! Maybe I'll be part of the testing  :hungry:
I certainly do, you certainly could be part of the upcoming testing if you'd like! Thanks for the kind words I really do appreciate it, this endeavor has been so worthwhile and I'm glad that I persevered which was mainly in part to the support from my fellow detailers.
Truly impressive. Another example of how hard work and patience pays off.
Well done and congrats!
Thank you sir!
Had a dream about Sonic Wax and AG. They were on TV talking about it. Weird.
elaborate? very interesting!

That's so awesome! I'm gonna pick up a pot soon!

If you email me at [email protected] I could point you in the direction of some small jars, however I would not recommend doing that with the wax, as that would alter the wax texture quite a bit
I think you will enjoy the wax and the smell :D

If you don't heat it and instead simply scrape it out with a plastic knife into a new container, surely the texture won't change, no? That's how I sent wax samples in the past...

In any case, huge congratulations to you! What an achievement!!

Hey Roshan, I am not sure if that would work with this wax. I've played a lot with the wax and can tell you that it is a HARD wax! Although you can scrape it, I am not sure if you can "butter" it up in a small sample container as easily as a soft paste wax.

If I was to make a recommendation I would say just take a hot butter knive and you can cut it in sections? I will be hard to load on an applicator but may work?!?

I've tested this myself and while the wax will still work, it becomes "grainy" you can read about unbiased thoughts on a manually transferred protowax here

Not saying this is the same for all waxes but with my wax this is the case
Thank you Roshan, I'd also like to congratulate you as I viewed your youtube channel recently and you have 100k+ views iirc, that is certainly an achievement as well!

Hello Son1c, I am a new member here but I have been using AG as a source of information for a while. Anyhow, I followed your home-brew thread and I am happy to see that your hard work has paid off. I was wondering, are you going to come out with more strands? I thought I saw a post reviewing a pw54 (or something like that).

There was an error on my end for quantifying the wax content for SON1C Wax Carnaubavore --- the good news is its actually 150 ml as opposed to 120 ml which equates to 5.1 US Oz.
