Sonus Edgeless replacement MF's

I would like to know what you guys use these MFs for and why you like the "edgeless" aspect of them?

Mostly for removing of polish and wax.

Do you find these cake (meaning do great but once they absorb product they just stop working - glide vs grab) quicker than say than the typical buffing towel (like many dual nap detailing types)?

I just got 4 packs of the sonus green towels and was so pissed upon opening the package that I threw them in the garbage.

they are the same towels as the blue indigo's except the edge is even sharper and harder.

At first I was surprised at this thread, then I realized it shouldn't be surprising that the Sonus towels have changed to "badge engineered" versions of the Cobra towels now that PMBA owns both. Even back in the day I only thought the Sonus towels were worth it when they were on BOGO (which is the way I feel about most of the Cobra towels, too).

I forgot to add this picture (showing the 5 MF's):

IMO,these 5 Edgeless MF's are definitely worth $20 ;)

They look similar to the Megs UW but dyed black..
In this picture, on the left hand side of the bottom towel, look at the barnicles that stick out and see how those are cut and see if the can scratch... my guess is they can.

Yup they sure do but not as much as you might think.

First off,Good Morning All.
I have Pak whites that have MF material that stick out like what's in the picture. The material is not hard,NO scratch.
I've used both for removing polishes and have yet to have a issue :)

Thanks, dude.

I've been wanting to try Pakshak edgeless, but I will never buy a white polishing towel again. Black for the win!!! :dblthumb2:
ive been comparing the Adams edgeless with the Paksak and I think they are basically identical. Before I confirm this, I still need to remove some product with them.

Adams may be overpriced on many products (shampoo is the same as CG Maxi Suds), and there forum is absolutely ridiculous with customers that have turned into Adam zombies, but they have some gem products (Super VRT which beads water - APC for tires). And there Microfiber towels are always inspected VERY well, and they will never ship you even a single one that doesnt pass QC. The one thing I dont like is that they charge 15 dollars for there double soft towel when its available for 8.99 at Detailed Image.

I agree with the the forums being Adams zombies, but I don't think that the shampoos or any of their chemicals are the same as chemical guys. They released something a while back that they don't use the same stuff as anybody else accept for their microfibers and accessories. Don't hold me to this, but this is just what they released. If you know that it's true could you please show me where it is because I've been paying $30 a gallon for Adam's shampoo, and if it is indeed the same, I'm going to start buying CG Maxi-Suds II.

I haven't used Adams stuff but I have been courious to try a few products like the VRT and in and out spray and a few others.

I'll have to agree that Adams edgeless MF's do seem awfully close in comparison to the Pak's (only black).

BTW peeps, beware that the Adams "Black" edgeless MF's bleed out color and should only be washed the first few times with darker colors!!

The black towels that come with ultimate paste wax also bleed

I find a lot of stuff they sell pretty overpriced, not only that they trash on other products and the Zealots of Adam's are very f'en pushy.

But I do agree that a few items that they have are pretty awesome like their In & Out Spray.
