Southern California AutoGeek Online's Learn, Meet and Greet.

^ It's my uncle (estimator) Paul Galvez, he is the one that said go for it. When I first asked him about starting this event. He has also helped me throughout the way.

He is the owner of the Chevy Cruze we are all going to be working on April 5th.

Side Note: the car will be pre prepped, washed and played before.

However, I am going to be leaving the front end unclayed for demonstration purposes.

If your not on the list, go ahead and your name and forum name on the list. I will then add you on the list so we can exchange the rest of our information.

So sign up!

Art,

Perfect timing to leave some dust and practice waterless and rinseless wash.

Hi guys. :dblthumb2: I might have to take delivery of my ZL1 on Saturday. If it's dropped off before then, I'm in! Can you tentatively put me on the list, Art? If someone else wants the last spot before I can say yes for sure, that's cool.

Nice to see your list filling up nicely. That sounds like a great time with a lot of cool people attending and products to test out / raffle off. To think you were contemplating hopping on a plane to come all the way to PA to attend the detailing gig at my shop, even after hosting a gig like this one. I'm humbled and thank you for your willingness to even consider such a thing.

I am excited about the get together at my shop and can't wait to see the video you'll put together of yours out there. Just like the Mother's video you did, I'm sure your event video will be stellar as well.

Wish I had your skills there.

I just now saw this thread. I think it's really cool to see more of these detailing get togethers happening. I think they're contagious.

^ Thank you Dave

As far as heading out to PA. I was honored to even be invited. I sought out places and ticket prices and thought of different ideas to head out there, but in the end it was to last minute for me, but there is always another time.

Yeah I really had fun at the first meet and greet and since there was no word of the next one. I just decided to take on the challenge of hosting one.

I was very glad and honored that Mothers and Autogeek sponsored this event because it was all going to come out my own pocket. Mostly on products, food and drinks.

Well as far as the photography aspect of all this. It started by accident and slowly has started building up. I might be buying a GoPro that is being sold to me buy a previous owner. That's exciting. I also want to get my hands another computer program and more tools to keep recreating the way I make my videos. I always like and seem to think of new and different ways and techniques with pretty much everything I do.

This is going to be a fun filled week for me Detailing wise.

Today keep fixing up the garage, hang the shop lights, put up the banners and start doing some testing on products and paint. Brother in law might come he wants some headlight correction done.

Tomorrow 3D is hosting a seminar about 7 miles away from my house. Then head to my uncles body shop, he is going to check on my woofer and see why it's not working. He also has a banner for me to put up for Saturday.

Tuesday school
Wednesday keep fixing up the garage and keep working on the plan of attack for the car.

Thursday - Meguiar's Thursday Night Open Garage (TNOG) I wonder if it would be ok to take some of my Mothers products to test out there? :dunno: :)

Friday - finish up the garage

Saturday - Detail Event

Side note: I still have to think of a name for the event.

Art's Detail Event
Sponsored by: Autogeek and Mothers

:dunno:

We'll see when the time comes, don't want to think to far ahead.

What food/drinks do you need? I can bring whatever. We discussed this at the last meetup but don't recall it coming up this time. Suppose I should have thought about it. PM me.

Came across this while I shopping for some items. I'll be down to attend this. If possible please put me down.

I see you have been busy cleaning up. I remember seeing a picture of that garage with a whole lot of stuff cluttering it up.

Good job. I'm sure it's going to be a good time. Sorry I can't be there. Wish I could.

Yeah I remember sending you the picture. I didn't know there was so much space in there. If you still have the picture and can dig it up. Maybe you can PM it to me, it would be a great before and after. I might even include it in my video.

Yeah to bad you can't come, if I remember correctly at the first meet up. You were Detailing the interior, which led me to buy more brushes to replicate your work.

Thanks and hopefully next time you can come,

Art :buffing:
